Room was nice and well equipped. Breakfast was good. Shelter was very good equipped. We didn't need it during our stay but it looked amazing. It was the former wellness area. So quite comfortable.

I liked the breakfast

I didnt liked the service, we booked 5nights, 4 Rooms for 4people. The beds were extreem small in length our feets where outside the bed. The last night we had to cancel due to circumstances. I canceled 3days before but they told me that they could not refund the money. Because i wrote booking.com and canceled by them as well on time, they promised me to refund the money which until now they did not do. I stay in alot hotels but never experienced such bad service they had a hostile unfriendly behaviour. So much better experiences i had at premier geneva hotel in front of them.

Location, breakfast, view from my window, bed was good, nice decorations and paintings. Helpful receptionist and good service during breakfast.

Room was too small, Walls to thin - I could hear to conversations in next door room. Staff was not too much willing to speak Russian language - although Odessa was always Russian speaking city. The building seems to be in conflict with urban planning and most likely was erected by Oligarch who got 'special' permit..

it was cold the big room could not warm up enough. The room is old fasion. I moved next day to hotel frapoli one block further, which is warm new and modern and very comfortable hotel and is cheaper.

Staff hides behind reception. The bellboy is messy and dirty. The lobby design is not determined and has a terrarium with a snake, 16th century sofas and modern looks. Staff is misinformed and unpleasant.

The staff 10+ Owners wife and owner come to hotel daily. They make sure that all guests are happy . Victoria, Yulia,Sergei, Dasha … Ate the best service providers I ever met . Including all others . But , I’m terrible with names and I can’t remember all their names . I have been to Ukraine 31 times in ten years . Approximately 655 days . I’ve stayed at the California 74 days . All hotels I e stayed at were rated 5 stars . The California is the only one that deserves that 5 star rating . Everything is a reflection of leadership . So , The owner ( strong businessman) his wife ( OMG:) are amazing operators. Because, the staff is 10++++ .So, they ate amazing teacher trainers . All know English. If your coming from the states . I would advise you that this hotel be your only choice . This is a 300$ hotel per night in the states . . Any one coming in this also should also be your only choice .

A wonderful place to stay! We all were very pleased to stay there. Very nice staff, excellent location. The softiest pilows I have ever seen and sensed! I strongly reccomend this place.
