Good location close to shops and bus routes and the beach (though I didn't visit). I had a friendly welcome from Michael, and I got a very nice comfy room. The breakfast was lovely with lots of choice. The hotel was cosy and well decorated to a high standard. Everything was great and the price was incredibly reasonable. Would 100% stay again next time I'm visiting.
The only very minor thing I didn't like was the shower - it sprayed in all directions and couldn't be moved or adjusted. It was fine if you're washing your hair but you don't really get a choice on that given the way it sprays! But it was lovely and hot and a good pressure so it didn't matter, it's just the only thing I would have changed.

This is NOT a hotel but is a large B&B.
The decor is very brown, dark and depressing.
Breakfast finishes way too early 9am (during week and 9.45 at weekend) guests are on holiday and may want a lie-in.
Host had owned property for 23 years and it shows….he’s robotic. There is no additional staff during breakfast and you can feel his stress.
Totally overpriced!
Pillows and duvet synthetic, expect more for £157 a night.
But bed was very comfortable and room was large.

What a gem of a place! A beautiful building with an attentive but not overbearing host. The breakfast was perfect in a gorgeous dining room. I will be returning!

Fantastic hotel in a great location Michael the host was very welcoming, the room was beautiful and the bed was extremely comfortable, Breakfast was delicious (try the avacado sourdough toast) I would strongly recommend to anyone and definitely stay again,

Great location, in between the town and the sea front.
We stayed in a spacious room with a very comfy bed.

Unfortunately no bar facilities to have a quiet drink and relaxation with a book in the lounge area. However will look to book again
