We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Joan's house and enjoyed it a lot. Highly recommended!

Joan is a super host. She has lots of energy and is super helpful.

The hosts were very attentive and courteous. The room was very spacious and clean. Breakfast was good. The location is a longer way out from town but reachable in ten minutes by car.

Unfortunately, when other guests open their doors it can get a bit noisy.

Douglasha House is an excellent place to stay, it's located in a quiet area with a lovely mountain view. Joan is a very friendly host who welcomes her guests warmly and makes sure your stay is a pleasant stay. The breakfast, rooms and family are great. Highly recommend this place. Thanks Joan!

The B&B was in a very convenient location just outside of town in a beautiful country setting. There is a nice pub just down the road.

I liked everything about the property. the room was very comfortable and our host was very friendly and accommodating. she’s a star, she made sure everything and everyone was happy and looked after well. free breakfast was included and it was perfect,she was all about ensuring that the food and drinks,etc were served and provided well. we’re very gray because our little one had a cot and a high chair as well.

A wonderful Irish breakfast was cooked for us in the morning. Most appreciated. The towels supplied in the room were luxurious. Good value for money.

Perhaps take the bunks out of the room, which would make the room less cluttered and more space available for cases.

This is was hands-down the best B&B experience I've ever had in Ireland. The host, Joan, was an absolute sweetheart. She was very attentive, kind, extremely helpful and friendly. We had booked two double rooms as we were two couples and were given the family room for my parents, which was huge. Both double rooms were clean, with ensuite bathroom and very well equipped. The beds were very cosy and comfortable. There was also an extra heater in the walk-in closet. The bathroom was very clean with modern fixtures. The heating was left on for us, which is something I've never experienced before, as all other B&B's turn off the heating at night so you may end up freezing if you're not used to the cold weather. The room was actually so warm that we had it off throughout our two day stay. The breakfast spread was great with hot breakfast as well as having the breakfast room open 24/7 for self-service. You had access to tea, coffee, pastries, bread, butter, jam, yogurt, fruits, water and all crockery. This is again something I've never seen before in any other B&B, so this was amazing. We had an issue with the hot water being too hot and Joan and her husband came to adjust and fix it right now. She also gave a detailed guide about all the tourist spots, where to go and how. Would stay here again 1000%

Absolutely nothing!

Everything it was really nice. The host, Joan, is a nice person, very helpful and enjoyable. Perfect. Unfortunately for us, we stayed only one night.
