the lodge was disgusting and looked like it had not been cleaned in a while also very rundown inside and out

We loved how cozy and homely our Lodge was. Our 4 days/nights there were exceptionally comfortable. There are 2 outdoor decks to provide space to sit out and enjoy the beautiful country setting.

The check-out time of 9am is understandable but earlier than usual check-out times.

The hot tub was meant to be maintained every day which it was not and unfortunately we didn't use because there was sand in it from the previous occupants

Loved the views. the location was great for us as we went to a wedding at Upton Barn. Loved the fact that there were doors connecting every room practically. The Gamekeeper, Mark, was really lovely, friendly, and helpful. The best part of the place was the little sofa and table in the conservatory type room, with the bifold doors onto the balcony - it was cosy, with the view of the balcony without the breeze.

The only thing we would stipulate was that there weren't any logs for the fireplace or the sauna - even though it was stated as complimentary, then extra cost to replenish. So we couldn't make use of it, which was a little disappointing. Other than that, we have no quarms.

Spacious Lodges and clean and comfortable beds. Nice and quiet area close to shops and other attractions. Chris was helpful and friendly.

WIFI could have helped. nothing else i didn't like.
