The staffs were superz nice to help me answered questions on booking of places of attraction tickets through WeChat. They also provided recommended to go places, and the route to take when cycling around ancient walls. I love Xi'an people who are very welcoming towards foreigners!!! Love it! Thank you for making my stay in Xi'an memorable!

The staff were really great, friendly and chatty and helpful. They were a bunch of young people and several were genuinely interested in getting to know guests. To me this is the biggest positive of staying in a hostel, meeting locals and people from all over world and knowing more about the world from various perspectives. In particular I had great conversations with Kai Kai and 荔枝，and a part-time staff whose name I regrettably forgot to ask. They made us feel very welcome and helped us buy online tickets to the very popular Shaanxi History Museum. We also got a free room upgrade upon checkin. Breakfast was good with soy milk they made themselves, excellent coffee and Chinese buns made by a nearby eatery. The two cats in the corner of the cafe were the cutest too. Staying here was like staying with friends! 谢谢你，迦家 :)

Nothing to dislike.

Fantastic guesthouse insude the city walls, a stone's throw from one side. Quiet street, lovely staff, cool and funky balcony room. Proper, comfortable mattress on the floor in the bedroom. I like this look, but if your knees aren't at their strongest you might want to check if all beds are this style? It's basically a stylish 1 bed apartment. Loved the cardboard boxed freebies, and the owner couldn't have been more accommodating or friendly. They are planning a yoga room and renovation is underway. I was asked if there was anything I could suggest in way of improvement and after a think there are a couple of things: 1 - use non-sweet bread for the breakfast sandwiches. 2 - during your next bathroom refit it might be a worthwhile investment to fit a water filter in the shower head? I think Xian water is hard and the attachments will sort that out. People use them in my home town and it makes the water into luxury water :) Also loved the friendly cats - I wouldn't have minded a bit having them out of their cage at breaksfast, but understand and appreciate that other guests may not be happy about it.

I was on my own so the glassless windows and curtain style bathroom door wasn't a problem, but I can imagine that might cause some travelers to take the room in shifts?

The location is good as it is about 500 metres from Chaoyangmen station (Exit A or B). It was a quaint place which felt very homey. The staff was also attentive and spoke decent English to help us.

My main issue is the bathroom that was an open concept which I was aware of. However there was a strong drainage smell which surrounded the room, for the first 2 days. It was quite distracting even though we left the window open to hopefully help with the smell. The staff came to look at it but nothing much was done. The toilet floor also was stained and rusty. The shower was hard to manage as the water temperature either became very hot or very cold out of a sudden. Also using the shower head would cause the floor to flood.

The stuff is welcoming and helpful while they also provide you excellent local breakfast. The location is quite centre, easy to reach. Recommended!
