A little oasis for (st)rolling in Bamberg and around. Centrally located every you need to see or eat is around the corner. But the place you stay is nice and quiet. The best places to eat are in the same street. Just a little hidden gem.

We missed the information booklet and the phone number needs to be updated. Also this area has a bad phone reception. But everybody has the same problem (or convenience).

Beautiful and spacious apartment, looked as if it was brand new. And it is furnished very tastefully. Bamberg on a monday night is great. All young people go out.

Not much, only the 10 euro for the parking space overnigjt a bit costly.

The location was excellent. The apartment was clean, modernized and spacious. The primary bedroom is attractive with good storage and light, a comfortable bed and lighting.

The pillows were too soft and the sofa bed was not very comfortable and 2nd guest had to come upstairs through the bedroom to use the bathroom. It was warm during stay and a fan would have helped. The windows and doors are great at keeping sound out but when they had to be open for cooling off, the noise could get loud. This place it well suited for a couple but perhaps not for 2 singles.

very nice place, fantastic position close to restaurants and very close to Bamberg old tow, that can be reached by foot in 10 minutes. owner very kind, parking close to the apartment.

Amazing location, quiet but in the heart of the old town at the base of cathedral hill. Surrounded by great bars and restaurants, car parking space within 3mins walk. Very pleasant and reliable communication with the host. Everything was very clean and fairly new.

Just that the pillows were too soft for me! Otherwise everything was excellent.

We spent in Haus "Zum Schwarzen Stiefel" one night. The location of accommodation it´s great and all touristic places are in walking distance. The room was very clean and quiet although is on the street with Cafés, shops and pubs. Handover of the keys is very well organized and communication with owner is pleasant. Parking place is nearby, approx. 3min walk. We would definitely stay there again.

It was clean, the facilities were fine and it was situated right in the middle of the Old town. Excelent value for the money.

There was no telephone signal in the room so we had to go outside to make and recieve calls. We never met the host so we could not pay for the parking in cash as we had been informed we should do.

A very nice and silent patio. The apartment was pretty nice equipped. Very good location in the middle of old town.

The shower was not separated from the rest of the bathroom so the water was spilling on the floor. The wifi didn't reach the patio.

The location is incredible. Appartment is modern, comfortable and silent.

I really enjoyed my stay at Zum Schwarzen Stiefel. I absolutely LOVED the location, Obere Sandstrasse is one of the most popular streets in Bamberg, even though its very narrow and short - it has everything; a wonderful coffeehouse (Zuckerstück), several restaurants, a brewery, a night club etc. The apartment is in a back-building so you won't hear any noises from this bustling street! The apt was super clean, the bed was comfy and I did not miss anything from the kitchen f.ex. The communication with the host was great, just how i like it - they answered immediately but i did not have to have face-to-face contact with them, they were able to come by the apt when I was working during the day.

The one downside was that you hear a lot through the walls, so on the two days that someone was staying in the apartment above me, I could very clearly hear them.
