This property was very homely. The room was exceptional and just what we needed after a long drive and day at work. They were able to provide us with the keys earlier due to work commitments which made our day easier. We were a family of 3, (2 adults and 1 child). Beds were super comfortable, shower facilities were great and had a good variety of coffee/tea. Filled in a breakfast form when we first arrived to pre order and it did not let us down. Breakfast was delicious. Will definitely keep this place in mind. The owners (terrible with names) were delightful, very friendly. Happy to have a chat and cater for all our needs. Really happy we chose to stay at alma lodge.

- Friendly and uncomplicated staff - served breakfast (met our expectations) - good value for money - it was very quiet during the night - easy checkin / checkout

- room was very small (in case you have big baggage) - it was difficult to shower (shower ether in bathtub without shower-curtain or in the shower located directly in the bathroom without curtain - so it gets very wet).

We spent a night in a 5 beds room. Host were very nice and friendly, the beds very comfortable.

The room was clean and comfortable and we had a decent nights sleep. The staff were lovely and friendly, gave us lots of info on the local area.

The property is on a busy one way road and it was tricky to spot on a dark and rainy night. We overshot it and had to go round in a big loop to get back to it. Small parking area so we had to park on the road adjacent to the property. The room was very hot! and it was tricky to adjust water flow and temperature in the shower.

Breakfast was delicious and plenty. Service was quick. Host was friendly and polite. Location for us was perfect.

Although we arrived very early, the owners very kindly allowed us to park up and go to our room. They also told us of a very good place nearby where we could have our evening meal and gave us directions on how to get there. The room itself was of a reasonable size, very clean as was the Bathroom. We considered the Breakfast excellent and we had a nice long chat with both the owner and her Daughter, who apparently runs the B&B. They were very informative, regarding places in Plymouth we could visit, as we had plenty of time to spend while waiting for our Ferry.
