Beautiful, calm, neat and private place! Very hospitable and helpful hosts. You can see the ocean from every room and there’s a pool, garden and patio to hang out. Every morning the hosts provide you with local pastry.

Nothing; it’s great! Just note that even though there is a small kitchen with a kettle, microwave etc, it doesn’t have a stove in the Standard Suite.

Top Unterkunft mit sehr charmanten Vermietern. Die Außenanlage ist wunderschön angelegt mit einigen angelegten Sitzecken, so dass jeder Gast seinen privaten Vergnügungen ungestört nachgehen kann. Der Swimmingpool ist schön groß und lädt zum Baden ein. Für Handtücher und Sonnenschirme ist gesorgt. Sehr angenehm fanden wir die Idee, dass Olivier und seine Frau uns Brötchen und süße Leckereien vor das Appartement gestellt haben, so dass wir uns nicht selbst kümmern mussten. Fürs erste Frühstück war gesorgt mit Yoghurt, Obst, Marmelade und Obst. Für den ersten Abend wurden wir mit einer Flasche Wein versorgt. Fragen oder kleinere Nachfragen wurden prompt erfüllt. Es war alles super. Ein kleiner Wehmutstropfen: Der Ort Salema ist nicht so prickelnd, aber mit einem Auto erreicht man sehr schnell die schöne Costa Vicentina und die Algarveküste.

Location was nice.

I booked 2 rooms- 1 for my husband and 1 for our friends. We both paid the same price but their room was soooo much nicer than ours. They had a beautiful large bathroom with double sinks, a large terrace with lounge chairs and an outdoor kitchen! Their room was upstairs with a beautiful view. Our room had a small bathroom and 2 regular chairs outside to sit on. We both paid basically the same price. (E10 difference) The rooms weren’t comparable at all. I’ve never complained before but I really felt it was wrong. I guess I won’t book on Booking.com anymore because of this situation.

Was out of the way and very quiet. Good sized room with small kitchenette. We had a table and chairs outside. And parking out front. We had fresh bread/pastries brought to use daily and a coffee machine and tea.

Long walk up hill to get to the location. GPS had a difficult time finding. Signage for location along the way was helpful. Had difficulties getting in at first. No room cleaning/service in between days.

Nice breakfast basket of pastries every morning and very nicely stocked mini fridge with milk, OJ and butter. Good coffee machine that made BIG cups! All in all, breakfast in the garden by the pool was a highlight. The place was close enough to the beach, but far enough to be very quiet. Salema’s beach not overcrowded like the others to the East.

Sorry to say that the bed was very uncomfortable. Three nights definitely all we could take in that regard. The ambience of the room is far from Romantic. We didn’t mind the quad-burning trek up the hill to the place, but be aware if you have mobility issues. There is ample parking down below if needed.

Everything was just perfect.

Die Lage war toll, der Strand ist in 10 Min. zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Anlage ist sehr schön angelegt und die Zimmer mit einer Liebe fürs Detail eingerichtet. Fabienne hat sich sehr lieb um uns gekümmert. Der Kühlschrank war mit ein paar Dingen bestückt. Kaffee und Marmelade/Nutella/ Honig waren auch vorhanden, sowie eine Flasche Wein. Fabienne hat uns morgens (kostenlos) frische Brötchen vorbei gebracht. Die Unterkunft ist sehr zu empfehlen!
