excellent location.

sofa bed not very comfy to sit on in the evening after a long day out.

I liked the quirkiness of this cute little space. I wasn't cooking but the tiny kitchenette looked well equipped. The location is dynamite, right there in the middle of town near the cathedral.

The entry area was dark and dirty. No one told me there was a switch there to light up the narrow winding staircase, so I had to navigate it in the dark. There is no elevator. I didn't care for all the mops, cleaning supplies, etc in plain sight. This is NOT a place for guests who might have difficulty dragging suitcases up and down the spiral staircase for 3 floors. That should be noted in the description. And you also have to go up and down a narrow spiral staircase to get to the bed.

Ceiling and structure beams very low. We must have bumped our heads at least half a dozen times. Futon in living room very uncomfortable and non ergonomic.

Great location

We had a great deal of difficulty opening the lock box for the keys - a good samatarian helped us. I slept on the "sofabed" which did not pull out and was very uncomfortable.

Our host, Thierry, was super communicative before our arrival and made it easy to locate the key and the home. It was a wonderful pleasant expereince and so cool to stay in such an old building in the best location ever!

I personally didn't mind, but if you're tall you will want to be aware the door is short and some areas of the ceiling are shorter than average. Also there is a narrow winding stairway to get to the front door so it was a little tricky to get our suitcases upstairs and back down...but it is truly all part of the charm of this location.

Lovely and clean .

More information should be given ,when booking ,about the spiral staircase. VERY difficult and dangerous. Would need to access bathroom at night down via the stairs. Treads too small for placing feet . Thankfully there was a sofa bed downstairs as we didn't feel safe using the stairs. It should be made aware of on booking .

fantastic central location, quirky building leading to great apt. The steps up too and once inside are a little steep and not for those with mobility difficulties but I would highly recommend.

The room is unusual but very good. The facilities worked very well. Location was excellent. The host communicated well with us.

The stairs were difficult with heavy suitcases. The low beams, but that can't easily be changed.

Best place to rent in Bayeux! Grab this spot if you can, it is a whole apartment for rent in a historical building, it really makes it feel like your 2nd home. Everything you could need is here grab some stuff at a local store and cook some dinner on the provided kitchen in room. Very private perfect for a family as there is a loft on the 2nd floor and a futon below.

We found 6 bed bugs in the bed. And some plates were dirty. But I hope this is solved after the comment.
