Nirmala and her Family made the stay like I was at home, they were kind and helpful and the apartment was spacious and comfortable.

Absolutly nothing to complain. Very nice family, they catch me at airpot. They help me to plan my trip, to get a sim card, book taxi, get good price, etc... The room was confortable, clean and quiet. Btw, family's dad has a tourrist office in Thalem, I booked a trekking in Pokhara montain, it was fabulous. That's simple this family made my holidays in NEPAL !

Great quiet location in the very nice district of Katmandu. Everything you need is nearby. But it is very quiet!! Good rooms, comfy beds, and kitchen and lounge. Everything you might need.

Far from dusty road. I liked the people, they are amazing - very kind and supportive, very hospitable and friendly. With perfect English, easy to understand and interesting to have conversation. Practically always someone is there if you need any help. Otherwise they are on the phone to help. The rooms and the house is very clean. Food is delicious! Good sound insulation in the house. Hot water available.

You should be aware that the gate is closed since around 10pm. But the same in any other property here. The studio-apartment is (temporarily) just a standard room with a bathroom because the kitchen is not available so far after covid lockdown. But if you need to cook, you might ask them for a possibility to cook at their kitchen or better book an apartment (not studio-apartment) on the first floor.

They served homely meals with smiling face.

Nirmala and Ram were very friendly and I felt very comfortable during my stay. The area is safe, close to a nice Hindu temple and many little restaurants where you can eat dhal bhat and momos.

Wonderful homestay, the owners are very kind and accommodating, happy to include you in the family circle or give you your own space. All facilities are there (hot water is solar but really hot), even a shared kitchen is available. The neighbourhood is quiet. and the location is good for those who come for joining events at nearby monasteries (~15 mins walk to Sharminub, ~10 mins to the Bon gompa).

A little bit pricey for a budget traveller, but prices are rather high in the whole area - what you get for your money here is good anyway
