Great historical building, nicely renovated.

There were not that many parking spaces

Family room of good size. The beds are very comfortable. Nice breakfast. Our kids loved the playing room. Very nice after a long drive. A few restaurants are available 5-10 min walking distance from the hotel. Note: the hotel has a few (free) parking spots available in the front courtyard.

The room had limited storage space. Could be an issue if you spend more than 1 night.

The room was nice and the staff were friendly. The town is really cute, and the hotel fit the old town vibe. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was modern. The windows have rolladen (not sure if I spelled that right, but the wonderful German shades that make it really dark) so I appreciated that. I was supposed to stay for 3 nights but had to cut my trip short because of a family emergency, but I would definitely stay here again if I came back to the area.

No huge complaints, but the room description said "mini bar" which I took to mean there would be a mini fridge in my room that I could use to keep my own drinks cold. But what it actually meant is there's a shared mini bar fridge in the common area where you can buy a drink on the honor system. Not a big deal, but it meant I couldn't use it for my own things.

I love this hotel. It has character, it was quiet, perched on a hill. Very nice staff. In a charming town. Big rooms. Totally affordable!

A lovely welcome to a beautiful hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable, clean and spacious room. Great location for exploring the area. Lovely breakfast.

The overall rating is not that high due to the fact of me not being able to get breakfast. I can't eat anything with milk in it, therefore I went on from the breakfast still hungry because of the lack of possibilities. And I still payed the full amount for the breakfast.

No AC…. which was typical but with the windows open the birds were pretty loud.

Very easy and central location, but also next to wonderful walking alongside vineyards, to the castle, fine church and into pretty town. Delicious complimentary wine. Room and bathroom very high spec.

As the old court house, a little austere, but we were there in foul weather. Garden must be nice when fine.
