Everything went smooth and easy from the time of the booking until the time of departure. Communication with the host went very well, no complications. Easy to find the apartment and to get accommodated. Stylish apartment, well equipped, 5 mins from city center. Nice view from the living room to the Maastricht skyline. Would stay there again anytime.

Two single beds side-by-side, moved apart during the night. We prefer queen size / king size beds :) Nevertheless, we slept well.

Location and property itself is the best.

Key pick up was very stressfull after for long flights. Peter lives in Belgium and we couldn't reach him by viber or whatsup. Fortunately, very kind neigbour helped us and contacted with Peter, he also helped us to find keys.

Property is in a great location, with loads of shops, cafès, bars/restaurants all within easy walking distance, on both sides of the river.

The process of collecting the keys on arrival was very messy & a bit stressful, we were asked to ring the host (Peter) on arrival at the property, when we did so, a lady answered the phone, I asked to speak to Peter & she said "no", then promptly hung up ! We then rang again on a different number & Peter answered & told us that he was away somewhere in France & would ring me back in 10mins. Then he messaged me to say that I need to be connected to a Dutch telephone company ?? Then he asked me to ring him back ! After a long, hot day of planes, trains & buses, it wasn't very nice to be standing out on the street, with all of our luggage, trying to get the key from someone who was actually over in France !! But we got them eventually & all was good from then onwards. The bedroom is quite small with very little room to move once in there, it also needs to have a window that can be opened as it gets very, very stuffy in there during the warm weather we had on our stay. (No air-con).

I traveled with my family, and the main goal was to see Maastricht. the location is close to the city center. There is a paid parking not far from the flat, for 3 days it costed around 45 euros. I general very quite and nice neighborhood. Very nice spot to do a one day trip to Belgium from NL. We went for groceries to Liege as local supermarkets were closed due to Christmas, so everything was close and easy to reach.

The parking cost is not cheap, price comparable with AMS. There is no easily available litter box outside or may be we did not fine one. After ordering food online there is always a lot of bulky stuff to throw away, and for that you have to use public trash box with small hole in it.

The property is located next to the river and very close to the major attractions of Maastricht. And do not forget to taste a variety of beers at Stadsbrouwerij Maastricht - the brewery brews some very fine beers. A small sauna in the house was most welcome. While the main bedroom is small, overall property is spacious.
