If you are looking for a private, tranquil apartment then this is perfect.
Busses to Amsterdam are only 10mins away, as is the well stocked local supermarket
No double glazing in the apartment, meaning any heat from the single radiator (was never on during our stay) lost to the glass.
Only one side of the adjustable bed worked, can't watch TV in bed as the wires arnt long enough !

The location is very nice. Our apartment was on the top floor with a very nice view of the canal. It was also very clean and cosy. The owners are very polite, and friendly. Definitely would stay there again if I were to visit the area.

Brilliant location only 20. minutes on a bus into Amsterdam and the bars and restaurants In Monnikendam were great. Beautifully clean apartment, very helpful owner who you contacted by phone on arrival and she opened the door remotely. Loved the espresso machine and huge bath.
Nothing would highly recommend.

Great location on the sea front. Lovely shops, town, restaurants and bars nearby. Great Tapas bar not far to walk to. Very helpful with secure bike storage. Easy to cycle to nice towns and Amsterdam.
Located on a main throughfare and harbour so it was sometimes a bit noisy at night. Not much of a problem though for us.

Very well appointed apartment with great view over the harbour. Useful bike storage was a bonus. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Overall a super place for a short stay.
Steep steps up to the appartment may be a problem for some visitors.

Beautiful flat in a central and pleasant location.
It has everything you need to enjoy a perfect weekend. I really liked having the possibility to leave the bicycles in a storage room.
I understand it's very convenient but I didn't love the remote check in.

Loved the hosts, the ease, the location, the rooms and how clean it was.
The bed is not suitable for someone with a sensitive back. It also slants to one side and seems to sink in the middle.
Only 1 pillow each to sleep on. No options
Not much surface space in the apartment so we struggle to store items around the room.
