The location
Every experience other than the location was very disappointing. Elevator not working, without prior notification and for few weeks (not a sudden event). Bed not comfortable. Terrible breakfast (not fresh, some items appeared to be from the day before). No proper/safe place to leave the luggage after check-out.

The location of the hotel was excellent with lots of amenities close by.
The room smelt of damp. The tiles on the floor in the bathroom were cracked and one whole tile was loose. The shower was dirty. The lift didn't work and the phone in the room didn't work. There was no remote for the TV and I had to go up and down 3 flights of stairs twice to get it sorted out.

The property is in a great location and well appointed. However, I was told at check-in that breakfast was not available. According to the website, it is. There was a tea kettle in the room, but no tea provided. London hotels are pricey but for a 4-star rating, they barely offer the basics. I’m sorry I spent the money.

Our room was small but had a high ceiling. Good bed. Clean. Conveniently located close to subway station and Hyde Park.
The bathroom was outdated. No breakfast. no coffeemaker in the room. The room had a teakettle with tea and instant coffee.

lift not working (we were on 3rd and 4th floor). Air con not working. intermittent hot water. broken window pane. Paper thin walls so disturbed several times overnight

For a 4-stars hotel, we could expect clean towels and bedding each day
We got one pair of slippers but we were two
We have booked the simple double beds rooms and the bathroom was not 100% clean (hairs under the bin, broken tile)
One night we found our room with the window not well closed…

The hotel is very intimate and at an excellent location, close to the metro station, super market and Oxford Street.
The hospitality was excellent and the the room was super clear and maintained.
Everything was excellent.

Staff very friendly and location was very good.
It did not have a hot water kettle to make tea or coffee.
We had to carry our suitcase up some steps as the elevator did not reach the room.
