Modern and clean hotel, with a tastefully furnished room, safe parking and good breakfast. Just off the main highway, but quiet thanks to sound-proof windows. The garden restaurant is a plus for this ideal stopover, avoiding to get into downtown Zagreb.

it’s not very clean old design with low maintanance balcony without furniture/ ash tray breakfast very average( bad quality products and ingredients) mostly it’s a 2 star in comparaison with other HR hotels rated at 3 stars

Good location along the highway, without any noise. Large, free parking area. We also liked the two bedrooms sharing a joint kitchen (no equipment though).

The food quality was rather bad. Noisy aircon. Hard beds. Loud music in the restaurant.

We have been using Hotel Calypso for a number of years as a stop-over en-route between Italy and Bulgaria. Naturally it continues to have the advantage of being close to the motorway. It also continues to have the advantage of having an on-site restaurant to feed the weary traveller.

We have been using Hotel Calypso for a number of years as a stop-over en-route between Italy and Bulgaria. It seems that the hotel is under new management. Never before have our passports been held hostage until check-out. The manager, whom we have never seen before, claimed that they had experienced a lot of people leaving without paying. Two things: he should have known that we were frequent guest and; booking.com has my credit card details on file. A further disappointment was that the quality of the food in the restaurant seems to have declined (although the service remains outstandingly friendly). We have now decided to take our overnight breaks in southern Slovenia instead and will not be returning to the Hotel Calypso.

Good parking, nice restaurant and friendly staff. I will definitely come back here.

Reception 24h available. Arrived at 03.30 in the morning. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast Top. Room very clean and with heating that really works in winter. Calm and good Location.
