The facilities and amenities were not worth the hotel rate -- the beach in front of this hotel was dirty, rough, and less maintained. Staff was helpful but the AC in the first assigned room was not working. The elevator is strangely designed to open between two floors so that, for example, if your room is on the 2nd floor, guests have to carry their luggage and walk down 12 steps to get to their room. It was a challenge for us because our luggage was quite heavy (for a 17-day stay in Costa).

The staff and breakfast included, made the stay! such friendly folk and fabulous gallo pinto. Pools are kept immaculate. You can fall asleep to the crashing waves coming from your hotel window!

Close to beach

Jacuzzi in suite when used black particles came out. Only allowed 2 coffee pods per day in room . Soap dishes rusty Elevator questionable use it was stuck on first floor. Bar only basic drinks. Breakfast ok one day had notiilla and next dyy no cheese at all.

We arrived for our one night stay super late because of traffic but our host greeted us, we parked, he checked us in and guided us to ourroom. Very nice, simple, comfortable room. In the morning there was hot water and a wonderful breakfast.

I was placed on the 4th floor and the elevator was out. i Not good for a old guy with 2 bad knees. They moved me the next day. but the place is old and worn down.

beach front location.

outdated, needs maintenance and renovation, no hand towels in the bathroom.

ground floor flat for direct access to the pool is amazing. pool was shallow for kids to enjoy. restaurant food was gorgeous. beach over the road. walking distance to loads of shops.

hotel is next to a big river mouth which had overflowed the beachfront with logs and debris. the beach waves were tougher than any other beach visited in 3 weeks. there seems to be a lot of builders rubble(broken bricks) scattered across the entire beach. we booked two double room and got a single and double which was not ideal. reception man wasn’t apologetic at all and offered me a mattress for the floor. when I asked for a price reduction they magically got a double bed in.
