The location was very good , close to town and convenient . The owner was helpful and friendly. The cooked breakfast was very good, with fruit and cereal also available . The bed was comfortable and room met my needs perfectly , the bathroom was clean and warm. Good for a lone traveller , very safe and secure.

The shower wasnt very powerful, but this is a minor complaint , overall not a big deal.

The Athollbank guest house is a lovely place to stay and we definitely recommend this if you want to have a local experience instead of a chain hotel. Robby and his wife are great hosts, the breakfast is included everyday and you can choose what you want to eat. We wanted to have a local experience in a guest house and we loved that place. No regrets. If you prefer to stay in a family house and atmosphere, then don't hesitate and just go there, you will not be disappointed. Thanks Robby for all your help and to accomodate us during our stay, if we have a chance to come back in Dundee we will definitely choose this place again as 1st choice.

Comfy beds, nice clean en suite, large room, proximity to pubs , takeaways etc. Just what 2 guys needed for a couple of nights away working at st andrews golf.

No choice of bacon or mushrooms with breakfast or type of egg apart from fried although what was served was great. Double bed was a bit short for me
