This is the kind of place you hope to find - beautiful. We stayed in the dog-friendly station rooms, right by the estuary, with the weather changing in the window.

Absolutely outstanding! Couldn’t speak highly enough of the place. The building was stunning and the staff where excellent. The food and drinks where very good quality and affordable. Will definitely be back we was blown away by the place!

Breakfast and location you couldn't fault, Christmas Dinner was lovely and staff were so friendly and made us feel very welcome

There was nothing I didn't like, the relaxation area was lovely but small and could not fit many people

Fantastic place on top of a lake... the rooms were spacious, clean and provided all main facilities, including a big size tv. The food for dinner and breakfast was fantastic. The staff were so welcoming.

Bit overpriced christmas lunch but otherwise everything was great!

had a couple of complaints about items in the room which weren’t addressed during our stay despite 3 requests. 1 light never worked (despite another being resolved the next day) and the safe was permanently locked.

Strange looks when walking past folks using the bar, made us feel a little uncomfortable

The location is outstanding with views across the estuary. The food was excellent and the customer service was exceptional with the staff going above and beyond, even to the point that they tried to book me another hotel as I had mistakenly only booked one night instead of two. They were superb.

More seasonal and local food on the menu. No local fish, no Welsh lamb. Lancashire black pudding on breakfast menu on a ‘Welsh’ breakfast.
