Decor of room and overall in hotel. Location. Food in the bar.

Bed was really uncomfortable. Lumpy and uneven. Got terrible back ache and no sleep the first night. Moved to other side on second night which was better but still same issues. Very disappointing given everything else was great. No bottle water in the room. Empty minibar

The room was dark husband says difficult to shave. Whilst in the bath the dispensers too high up !

The staff were lovely, the food, the bathroom aka rainfall shower + deep bath. Super comfy bed. Free magazines through the WiFi was a nice touch and sports channels.

Too expensive extend our stay any longer

Beautiful decor , warm and comfortable room, but we would have liked the window to open as need fresh air ( 3rd floor ) , spotless clean, friendly staff, bar and grill food exc , very tasty , little dark maybe needs bit more lighting over tables , otherwise absolutely lovely with exc deal !

Everything was as expected absolutely lovely.

It was our 1 year anniversary and we got upgraded. The staff arranged the banners I requested and put petals on the best so my girlfriend was really happy

No balloons as requested but the upgrade more than made up for this. There was a netting curtain on the hotel window so we could not see the view of the River as suggested

It is in fashion to paint everything dark but this just made the hotel gloomy and dreary especially in contrast to the lovely sunny weather. Slow service in the bar. no make up mirror in the bathroom tired shower area Single beds touching . - Not ideal

Staff we’re helpful and accommodating.

Hotel had a corporate event which went on very loudly until after midnight. Then at 0730hrs the industrial wheelybins which were placed under our window were collected waking us both up. This was reported to reception who said they would change it in the future. This doesn’t reflect the ethos of this chain, or the price we paid.

Would have like the breakfast to have been included in the price I thought at £16 per person for pastries / yoghurt and fruit or £20 per person for a hot breakfast a bit steep

Excellent location . Breakfasts were absolutely excellent, as in fact were all the meals there.

Would have liked better lighting around the mirror in the bathroom.

The bathroom was exceptionally good , the beds were very comfortable, the cleanliness was good. The facilities were excellent.
