The garden is amazing, the outside kitchen and the pool are wonderful!

Thank you Maria for your hospitality, even with physical distancing situation we felt very welcome from the very first minute. The fridge was supplied with water, some beer, fruits, cakes! The house is very nicely located if you want silence, in the middle of olive and orange trees orchards, having all comfort and facilities in one place, just for yourselves. Everything is like in the pictures or exceeds expectations: - The swimming pool is amazing and can be heated for extra charge, and I recommend doing that if it's autumn or spring. - The terrace with a nice grill place, oven, coal supplies for a couple of BBQs, all kinds of tools and a little fridge supplied with water (soon to be replaced with beer by me :)) - Playground was used by kids, we found a ball, an umbrella was offered by the host if we wanted to go to the beach Places to visit in the area, you'll find plenty of fliers and information at the property: - that place itself, there is a trail to a curch built on the property and the orchards all around the place - Deres/Nteres Horse Riding Center just a few km away, it is worth a visit, don't be discouraged by the poorly maintained buildings, the hosts there are very nice and speak very good English. - Iguana Beach is 20-30 min away, and maybe the best beach near Chania. - Chania city center and port would be a perfect dinner place. Don't miss the city view from the top, from Venizelos Graves. - A little bit further away is Manousakis Winery, if you don't get there at least buy their wines from a mini-market, I recommend Nostos Alexandra's and Blend. This was a perfect vacation, swimming pool, a cold beer, a nice BBQ, chill, relax, sun bathing, night gazing (btw, we caught full Moon during our stay)

Hornets were visiting the swimming pool area to drink water, but they were not aggressive. Our daughter is usually afraid of them, but this time she got used seeing them flying around. In the last few nights there was smoke in the entire valley, I didn't ask where it was coming from, but it was like organized smoking of either meat or cheese, and not wild fires. It wasn't a property issue per se.

Very good outside facilities and very nice pool. The host is very friendly!

Everything is perfect

The location was perfect for the peace and quiet that we wanted. On arrival we were greeted with a fridge full of provisions to see us through the first couple of days including some alcohol, ham, cheese, an enormous bowl of grapes and homemade cakes and treats - amazing! :-)

We really enjoyed everything about the villa, the only thing it could have benefited from in the kitchen was a dishwasher although as it was only the two of us and we ate out most of the time, it didn't really impact our stay :-)
