The whole experience has been exceptional. Booking process went smoothly, the accuracy of the listing was above expectation, the location closed to most amenities and easy access to such helpful host. It place has truly given us the feeling of being home away from home!

What a perfect place to escape the Christmas madness! This absolutely beautiful apartment certainly was a home away from home and while cosy, it was big enough to comfortably house two families with all the bells and whistles! The kitchen was perfect for cooking up a big Christmas feast, which we enjoyed while taking in the amazing view of the mountain visible from every window. The central location meant that croissants and coffee, bobsleds, swimming, chairlifts, and mountain tracks were literally at our doorstep. This really is a magical place, we are so grateful Amanda, for your warm hospitality, and helpful tips... the Dead Horse Gap walking track was definitely our favourite too!! Your attention to detail and all the over and above extras of this apartment made this holiday one of our best. This was our first time to Thredbo, but it definitely won't be our last. We can't wait to come back and stay at Kara's again!

Great apartment. Great experience with the family, hiking snow covered tracks by day, cooking, eating out, playing cards, chatting by the warm gas fire by night.

Stayed at Karas #1 as a group of 6 in mid-September, and we all really enjoyed our stay. The owner was very helpful, both in the lead up, and during our stay. Great location, with easy access to stairs to the village and a shuttle stop right outside. Very comfortable inside, with all the amenities needed to recover from some great days on the slopes. Thanks again, we will definitely be back!

We had a group of 10 stay in this apartment in early September and we were all extremely happy with the whole experience. Amanda was very nice and helpful in the lead up to the stay, providing us with all of the information to make the time go perfectly. Located within walking distance of slopes (not to mention a shuttle stop right out front) we had some really great days both on the mountain and in the village. The apartment was beautifully furnished with the essentials, but also included a whole bunch of extras to make sure we felt totally at home (x box, games, stereo etc). We were especially pleased with Angel, who looked after us during the stay. He was very friendly and accommodating to any needs we had.Thanks so much for having us. Can't wait to come back!!!

I agree the photos don't do this property justice. Well appointed, warm and comfortable this property accommodated 4 Adults & 4 Children comfortably. The 3 bathrooms & large drying room were an added bonus. We loved lazing by the gas log fire & in the spa & cooking homemade meals in the self contained kitchen. In a great location within walking distance to all amentities & a bus stop straight across the road, park the car in the overnight carpark & forget about it for the rest of your stay. Thanks for a great stay!

We had the recent Easter weekend staying at Kara's Apartment 1 and we had a fantastic time. In the lead up to the stay, the owner was exceptionally helpful regarding the booking and our bedding requirements. We arrived late at night to a warm gas fire and a unit that is recently renovated and very very comfortable. The online photos dont do it justice. There are multiple combinations of bedding which suited our group of 10 (with 5 kids included). There is a great view and the unit is just above the main village right in town. Definitely recommend this place! And we will be back.
