Just next to the Taj Mahal. Very clean and comfortable hotel. I was unfortunately sick with high fever the whole of our stay and the staff was extremely helpful, finding me a doctor and organizing food for me as well as checking up on me. Thank you so much!

The staff were very helpful and supportive when we had an issue and helped us sort it. Location is very handy for the Taj Mahal. Pool is a welcome place after a day of sightseeing. Restaurant food, staff and setting were fabulous.

Bathrooms need a bit of attention. Broken toilet seats, lack of shower screens/ curtains,

Our first hotel on our trip of 5 and this was by the far the best. Great location for the Taj Mahal. Nice breakfast but after we had picked out for the buffet then we were asked if we wanted an eggs for a omelette or fried so ask before you pick any food.

The hotel wanted a deposit before our stay so you end up paying more for your accomadation for example price quoted is £100 so you send £50 plus £10 international payment and then the hotel charges you for their bank transaction of £10 so you end up paying £120.

STAFF WERE VERY PLEASANT AND THE LOCATION IDEAL THE ROOM WAS A REASONABLE SIZE AND CONFORTABLE.

THE HOTEL NEEDED A LITTLE TLC. IT APPEARED TO HAVE BEEN RUN DOWN COMPARED TO OUR FRIENDS STAY A YEAR BEFORE COVID SO SUSPECT IT HAD SUFFERED LACK OF MAINTENANCE DURING THE LAST COUPLE OF YEARS.

Awful food .very oily and old stale food was served.exorbitant prices and inedible food.Complimentary breakfast was also very bad.

cold rooms, dirty, not like the photos. asked for a heater for our room and were given a 2 bar fire. we left about 15 minutes are checking in

The property is close to Taj Mahal only advantage. Rest everything is disappointing. The quality and standards of the room was extremely disappointing. The staff behaviour was polite but could have been better.

The rooms were not insulated and there was constant disturbances during the night. Swimming pool was closed and there is no view of Taj Mahal from the terrace. Although this was mentioned that Taj is visible from hotel but thats far from reality. How can a couple survive with 1 litre of water for entire day? Though they are strict in charging the customer 60rupees for a litre of water. Breakfast was not quite upto the mark, Foreing nationals are given privilage experience during dining (they are briefed on what all dishes are available) while for us we have to ask and guess if the dish is included in the buffet. Coffee/tea is served directly to the foreigners while we have to serve ourselves. Overall disappointing experience.

I liked the culture and the city of Agra. All staff were very kind and accommodating. They work hard and try to please every guest. They very helpful when they come to tours and places to visit and eat. There shop that they have is very reasonable and quality. Id recommend supporting them as the items they sell are beautiful. They even manage to book a train for me to Jaipur which helped us out alot on our trip. Very good team at Hotel Raj Resort

Only 1 thing to be liked about thus hotel was its location, it’s proximity with taj mahal

The bed was pathetic, very uncomfortable, couldn’t sleep whole night, room was in basement, so no fresh air or even light, it was quiet caustiphobic… something kept biting us all night, Donno wether it was bed bugs or some mostiqous, very bad smell in the washroom and the room as the room was in the basement..

Good location from the Taj Mahal with exceptionally friendly staff. The restaurant serves some of the finest Indian food we have ever had.

The cleanliness of the room is passable so don’t expect luxury. It was too cold for the swimming pool however it didn’t look too clean when we checked it out. The prices for goods in the Taj Gallery seemed 3-4 times that which you can get outside.
