Wonderful breakfast experience in Italy! very artistic setting and fresh food served in breakfast. I especially love the yogurt and espresso.

We liked everything! Exceptionally friendly staff, idyllic location, great breakfast. 25 minutes drive in to city centre, gave us great advice on where to park. Lovely room, great toiletries provided and the BEST shower. Fun truck to tow your luggage across the cobbles. Oh, no kids!

Only very minor things - there was a shelf above the bed which meant you couldn’t sit in bed and read. The road noise by the pool we can imagine would be off putting if you plan to spend the day there, but that’s not what we were looking for!

- Grounds are beautiful - Resturant (Seperate) had some really good dishes, definitely worth visiting. - Woman handling breakfast service was absolutely lovely, brining us soy milk each morning and remembering our order. - Breakfast was okay, very few options compared to other hotels.

- Initial reception was kind but uninformative and we had to return three times asking basic questions other hotels always explain (eg, local area, activities offered, site areas) - Very expensive "Wellness Suite", costing €50 to use for one hour, whilst we we're paying €230 a night already! - Room was very dirty on arrival, with cobwebs, hair, dust, dead spiders and even a nice bogey! - Very loud fan In bathroom. - The bed was extremely uncomfy and hard, making sleep difficult and painful. Genuinely rock solid and the hardest bed I've slept on in my life. - Absolutely no soundproofing in the room so frequently woken up by even just footsteps upstairs and all running water caused the pipes to rattle loudly. - Room was very hot every night with the AC blowing out only hot air even on the correct settings, causing us to have to leave the door open each night. Mosquitos of course made there way in past the net and we got covered in bites! - Cherry on top was that we we're told we could have picnics on site and use there facilities and going to kindly ask if I could borrow a couple of plates and a knife I was stared at like an idiot and told I could come and eat in the restaurant for dinner and that there's no way they could let me borrow them for the evening and that there was to be no food in the room! Absolute joke. After chatting to the owners we were then given the options to leave or pay more for an upgraded room. We've stayed in lots of places, and there's is the most disappointing yet, all I can suggest is that everyone reading this give this place a wide berth. Not terrible but an absolute disappointment with the price and rating of this apparent 4 star Hotel. Easiest way I can put it I'd that we we're made to feel like the owners were in it for the money and not for creating a nice happy experience.

the smell in the room was very nice, it was very clean and it has an amazing restaurant a little bit expensive though. Also, the staff was very nice

they didn’t have air conditioner, no wine opener in the room.

Room was clean although sparingly furnished. Location is reasonably picturesque with the exception of motorway noise.

The hotel fell well short of expectations. Our expectations were not high only relative to the prices being charged and the way in which the resort markets itself. The hotel is close to the motorway so suffers from traffic noise. Not once during our stay and even on checkout we're we asked - "How was your meal?" "How was your stay?" "Is everything OK?". Not asking customers (4) during a long stay with 2 rooms booked is very poor from a customer service perspective and having any interest in your clients satisfaction or wellbeing. The resort is a boutique hotel with circa 17 rooms. The restaurant does not work well and is disappointing, overly complexed menu where the chef chooses the dishes - staff are under trained and it is understaffed. No member of staff asked how was the meal? We ate here 2 evenings during our stay and once for lunch due to limited surrounding restaurant options nearby. Portions small even on a lunch menu - e.g. - Pasta. Bread is required to avoid being hungry. The resort first and foremost should cater for in-house guests before outside visitors. An example of this is when wanting to eat in the restaurant for dinner (4 persons) they could not accommodate us. They can only cover tables inside or outside but not both - 4 front of house staff. 1 takes food orders. 1 handles wine. 2 ladies serve food and clear plates. The helpful girl at the front desk tried twice to fit us in and called the restaurant to no avail, even the owner could not convince the restaurant to fit us in. 4 adults stood hungry and no common sense to resolve the situation. All of the tables indoors of the restaurant are left empty - an absolute disgrace this incident and tarnished the stay. We were left to spend 50EUR on a taxi to eat in the small town 15minutes away. No apology from the management. Swimming Pool although beautiful far too cold guests cannot use it.
