I highly, highly recommend this property. My wife and I spent 7 days here for our honeymoon. Aurelio was very easy to work with. We had our flight delayed long enough to put our flight from San Juan to Vieques off a day. Aurelio worked with us and we were very easily able to check in. The property looks very similar to the picture. The only difference is that the colors are more vibrant, if anything. The interior is cozy yet has enough room, and it's very, very convenient to have laundry appliances on site. We didn't do much with the kitchen except store leftovers from the fantastic restaurants on Vieques, and make daiquiris in the blender. The bedroom is very comfortable and so is the bed. Roomy shower and a well-laid-out bathroom. The porch is extensive. The view is phenomenal. You can clearly see 2 bays, including the bioluminescent bay. The pool was a very nice size and was a great relief to swim around in during the hotter times. The property is very private. The pool isn't visible from the other properties - the retaining wall is huge and the pool is on the opposite side of the house from the other houses in the cul-de-sac. Private and very peaceful. The location is excellent. Both Isabel Segundo and Esperanza have different things to offer, and they're about equally close to the house. We were able to drive all the way to the west end of the island in about 20 minutes from the property. I would buy it if I could!!

Lisa’s place was fantastic. The privacy and the views were unreal. House was adorable and provided everything we needed. The outdoor shower was the best!!!! Good size pool, perfect for a first thing in the morning swim. Lisa also provided a beautiful charcuterie box which was brilliant after a long travel day. Can’t wait to return!

The house is perfect for two people. Stocked well with appliances and spices, etc.. There was always a cool breeze so we never used either of the two ACs, just the ceiling fans. So relaxing to come home from a day at the beaches then jump in the pool before dinner. And the nighttime sky -- AMAZING! Little light nearby so you could see galaxies, bring your star guide app!

The property itself is beautiful and comfortable. What was lacking for us was the ease of which to get around Vieques. Our flight landed too late to get our rental picked up and we were advised we could take a taxi the next morning for pickup. No problem. Except that started every one of our problems. Due to the location of the property on the island it was more than difficult to get a taxi. We lost out on our rental car because we couldn’t get a taxi to get it. Or the next day. We finally did a whole lot of hiking down the mountain, a Good Samaritan picked us up and got us to a UTV rental place. It’s checkout day, and guess what? We can’t get anybody to come up the mountain to get us. We we had to ditch our suitcase and put what we could carry in a bag … and walk. If you are arriving on island after 5 pm this is not the place to stay. You NEED a rental car, (really a car, not a golf cart) And all rental agencies close at 5 pm. And you cannot guarantee you’ll be able to get a taxi later on. The entire ordeal with being in a place very few cabs will go and having to walk/taxi/authorization holds (for the rental we never got and the golf cart we finally secured for 2 days which totaled over 1500.00) we are taking as a lesson learned. And one to share.

I took a lot of time researching different properties before making a reservation. The reviews for this property are positively accurate. Lisa was wonderful to deal with and Aurelio couldn't have been more hepful! The property was clean and welcoming. The pool is even more beautiful in person! Gorgeous views from the porch, including the occasional peacock strolling by. I loved the location, the layout and the views this property offers. I will most definitely return for another stay.

Go, it’s great. You’re on top of the world and nothing is too far away (if you are brave about driving narrow, twisty roads at night). There’s literally nothing to complain about. I even like that there are plenty of hooks, drawers and hangers so you can organize your stuff. Things you need for the beach are at the ready. Go on a snorkel tour with Sarah from Crystal Clear.

Property had everything you could wish for - comfortable, clean, good assortment of spices, etc, a pool, view of the Caribbean and the stars visible at night were amazing.

Our stay in Vieques was magical. From the sunny days to the horses that visited us on the porch and the endless views of the Caribbean. Our property was close to the beaches and the perfect place to relax. There is a school next door but other than drop off we never heard from the students. The outdoor shower was amazing!!! We will definitely visit again next year ☀️

Incredible views, and the pool is lovely and much larger than it appears in photos. Inside is exactly as pictured with a well stocked kitchen. Comfortable bed. Super quiet neighborhood… except when the neighbor is building a garage, which was weekdays starting at 7 am. Intermittent construction noise—scraping or power tools. We didn’t have the right to complain because hey it’s a neighborhood and because they usually stopped by 1 pm, but it kind of catches you off guard. Afternoons and evenings were silent, and star watching is awesome. Also gorgeous welcome snacks were in the fridge when we arrived. Thanks so much.

Renting this VRBO was a wonderful experience, and I would be happy to be back! The property manager was extremely helpful and the home is beautiful. Do not attempt to rent a golf cart due to the steep driveway (stick with a car or Jeep).

If you’re looking for peace, quiet, and a break from people, this is it! I’ve been booking vacations for some time, and it’s tough to find a house so well equipped and this private. The only noise is tropical birds and your only visitors are stray dogs who sometimes use the pool. You’ll find everything you need in the house. I appreciated that all fabrics are natural—no sweating through polyester sheets here. Side note: There is no hospital on this island since hurricane Maria in 2018. Bring a first aid kit! We booked as a last minute getaway, and Lisa kindly helped us with logistical snags that were entirely my fault. If you need a ride from San Juan to the Ceiba ferry, ask for Zack as your taxi in Puerto Rico! Zack is reliable. I do have a few words of advice for anyone booking and visiting Vieques for the first time: Be aware that tension points of your trip are logistics from the ferry to the rental car, to the VRBO, and then back again. If you can solve this before your trip, you’ll have a better time. Aurelio DOES pick you up on arrival and will take you to your car rental—this is part of the package. On the ferry headed toward the island, Avis called us and said they were closing at 1 p.m. (Google says they close at 4). Aurelio picked us up, but we were stuck at the VRBO until the next morning. Not a bad place to be stuck, but NO TAXIS were available the next morning to get our rental car. We appreciate that Aurelio was willing to take us to Avis, as it is NOT his job to be our taxi. Without his help, we would have lost another half day from our trip without a car. On the return trip off the island, we experienced challenges. At the beginning of our trip, Aurelio assured us he would drop us off at the ferry, just message him the day before. We did, but with no response for 8 hours. Certain we would miss the ferry and our flight, and with no taxis willing to take us, we messaged Lisa. Lisa said Aurelio did not have to take us to the ferry--only 1 trip was included. I understand Lisa is likely protecting Aurelio from becoming a taxi service, but I do think she should reconsider given no morning taxis are available and given that ferry service is difficult. However, he did show up, so we are happy we didn’t miss our outgoing flight. My husband and I travel often--stress is part of travel. We think Lisa’s property is beautiful, quiet, and clean--you’ll have a great time if you can navigate logistics and communication. Thank you, Lisa!

Located on at the top of a quiet hill (steep drive-be prepared) with a wonderful view of the ocean!! Private pool was comfortable and clean. Overall cozy place for a couple for sure! Will admit the neighborhood you go through to get there isn’t the best for all is worth it once you get to the house.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this house and the pool. My daughters and I stayed here for 4 days - and I wish it could’ve been longer! The pool and outdoor shower were our favorite things. Perfect location and really responsive and helpful owners/property managers.

The property owner Lisa made a suggestion for Lunch to take to the beach "Buen Provecho Cafe". Great Salad and Sandwich. The POOL. Wow, Amazing view from the deck . We had a wonderful time at this house. I had read all the reviews prior to our stay there, and everything I learned from them turned out to be true. The owner made sure everything was perfect before we got to the place. She purchased a brand new gas grill, new beach chairs and new beach towels just before we came. We enjoyed the privacy of the location and will be sure to visit again.

The house was perfect for a relaxing time away from winter. The pool was perfect with privacy. It is conveniently located to everything in Vieques. The best was how well the owner Lisa and the manager Aurelio took care of us. They were wonderful and the island was fantastic
