Well cared for, many added touches. Enjoyed the pool, hammock, chairs & umbrella for the beaches, comfortable beds, cooking utensils and laundry at the guesthouse.

The Salt Water Pool. The Short Walk To The Beach. The Neighbors. The Horses n Rosters.. The Next Door Baby Goats That Let U Feed Them. Ron Was So Very Helpful At Any Time I Contacted Him! Make Sure U Get A Vehicle Tho. We Had A Golf Kart & It Was Like We We’re Locals!! My Children LOVED The Food.. MAKE SURE U VISIT THE LOCAL TRUCKS!! We Didn’t Want To Leave & I’m POSITIVE Neither Will YOU!

This is our second stay here and Dos Coqui was perfect for our needs.

Dos Coquis was in wonderful shape with all the amenities as described. Enjoyed being in more of a neighborhood environment - with the beach/ocean being only a short walk away. You will want a car for accessing town and the other beaches/attractions on Vieques. Location is convenient to access to the rest of the island - though may take a little time to get used to navigating around town. The pool at the property was an attraction for us in renting and exceeded expectations. It was a great place to relax, cool off, and to keep our boys (14 and 11) entertained while just chilling at the house. Outdoor shower and nicely landscaped yard added to the ambience - and made post-beach cleanup a breeze. House is updated, well-kept, and well-equipped. Most of the little things had been though of, such that really no suggestions from us on improvements/additions. It looks like a vacation property that the owner actually uses, which means it has more attention to upgrades and details. Kitchen worked fine for basic meals prep for a family of 4. A/C units worked great when needed. Living room was comfortable. Washer/dryer and clothes line in back were very helpful. Barely used the TV setup, but it worked well for the moments our youngest son needed a little bit of a TV break. Wi-fi worked with no issues for a family of 4 on devices. Heard a little bit of roosters crowing in the morning, but that is typical for Vieques and actually was not obtrusive in our opinion. Horses and dogs made some visits to the road outside the gate and to a nearby semi-vacant lot - but were not nuisances. It's all part of the island experience. Ron was a very communicative and helpful property manager. He was even willing, at the last minute, to help us with a transportation snafu from the ferry that allowed most of the family to get to the house sooner (while I worked out the rental car logistics). That was much appreciated. Recommendations from Ron, and in the binder at the house, for dining, grocery stores, and beaches/activities were all spot-on and much appreciated. Loved our time on Vieques and at Dos Coquis. Will definitely be hoping that if we get to make this trip again that Dos Coquis will be available. The quality of the house made us want to take care of and treat it as if it were our own. The dream for someday may be to have something quite similar to Dos Coquis ourselves. Highly recommend this location for a family of 4 or so.

Nicely appointed, clean, comfortable house. Served as a great home base for our trip. Rod was super helpful when we encountered some travel difficulties. The pool was a great bonus after a hot day in the sun. Would definitely stay there again.

This was a great cottage for 3 adults. Small but well laid out with a well equipped kitchen. We used the beach chairs, beach umbrella and beach towels daily. It also had a cooler. Viegues has a lot of lovely beaches and Ron the caretaker was super helpful advising us which were the best. The pool was great and the perfect place to have breakfast. We loved our stay. The cottage is a block from the beach in a neighborhood. It is not walking distance to the town so we ate most of our dinners at home to avoid driving in the dark.

House was perfect for 2 couples Spacious, clean, and centrally located. Kitchen was great for cooking and sit down eating. Simple walk to beach and exploring areas. BONUS, the POOL. It was the relaxation moment after every day!

We had a really fun time at Dos Coquis. The house is clean, kitchen has everything needed to cook, and the pool was great. Ron was very helpful and really went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our time on Vieques. Hopefully we can stay here again!

Vieques is Heavenly. Be aware, lots of mosquitoes and so very much animal noise at night and in the mornings. Property was perfect. Their pool is Wonderful.

Ron, the property manager, was very helpful and attentive and received us in person to show us the place. His Guide to Vieques provided excellent advice on where to eat, which beaches to visit, and possible hikes to take. We also made use of the washer and dryer, which worked well and we’re in great condition. All in all, it was a great place to stay.

Lovely home just down the road from the ocean and an easy walk into town. Transportation is needed though to explore other beaches and grocery stores.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Place was clean and had everything we needed. The only downfall was a very wet season and couldn't sit outside due to mosquitoes. We would definitely consider staying there again!

House was spotless, linen clean, comfortable bed.. property needs drainage.. The intent of the trip was to explore the island and was able to accomplish that.. The island could be very beautiful and attractive to visitors but the uncontrolled horse population is detrimental.. The bars on the windows and junk vehicles in the yards are a stain.. The partially completed residential construction is a stain.. Island people were very friendly.

The house had great views, comfortable beds, and plenty of space. The kitchen could use some more amenities if you want to cook a lot but some basics were there if that is all you need. The help was exceptional when I messed up the calendar days for our stay and they accommodated my mistake. Thank you so much

This place was great everything we may have needed this house was equipped with and the manager was really friendly, gave us advice on what was good on the island and were to find the grocery store. When the TV broke she was there within an hour with a new TV I would gladly stayed here again

Pros: Fresh, Clean, up to date home. Everything you'll need. Val is very helpful getting you settled and pointing you in the right direction for whatever you need. Nice Neighborhood. The Beach near the house is sweet. Not crowded, great sunsets!! A car is a good idea for getting around. Plenty of condiments, etc. in the kitchen... so see what is there before you buy groceries. Internet connection was Fine!! Cons: The property next door is where several pieces of heavy equipment are kept. They start early, so engine noise can be a nuisance at 7:00 am. The yard is well landscaped with shrubs that make it so you wouldn't know it is there otherwise. Could use some microwave friendly dishes. We used paper towels for the couple items we reheated. Overall: Really Really great. Would definitely stay there again if going to Vieques. Thank you Thank you Thank you!!!

This little bungalow had everything we needed. The area was beautiful, and just a short walk to the beach. The kitchen was equipped with all of the necessary utensils to make delicious meals at home. I recommend renting a car as it will be difficult to get to the more secluded beaches on the island as the roads are in poor condition. The last night of our stay, we lost power and it was not restored so we could not charge our phones or shower, which was disappointing, but not the owner's fault!

We loved our stay here. Val was very helpful to help us get to know the area. The house was perfect, had everything we needed. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. We will be back!!

The house was clean and with all services working 100%. My family had a wonderful time in Vieques. I recommend this property to anyone. I will come back to Vieques next year!!!

This was our 1st time visiting Vieques but certainly not our last! The location of your home is perfectly convenient to everything. We enjoyed all the comforts of home...the beaches, spectacular, friendly dogs, horses & roosters. A very quiet neighborhood! Thanks to Val for all her help!
