Never have we experienced in our many yrs of staying in hotels across the world the rudeness of the staff in this hotel. Maybe because English was our first language but from check in to check out, the staff were abysmal. Put it like this, if I was the owner, they would all be seeking employment elsewhere and not in the catering business. We waited 1.5 hrs to be served food while every non English speaking guest including the ones who turned up after us were served first.

Location and view were perfect The staff were friendly The breakfast was fantastic A bit old but thats ok much better than large modern hotels Unfortunately our bed was broke and we couldnt find the fridge But the great pool made more than up for it!

Hotelier Rinaldo is reliable and helpful, as in the past. All staff dealt with my group with good humour. There is ample, secure garage parking.

The barman was very friendly and a nice pool.

Great area to stay, very centrally and sauna was very nice after a day of hiking

we had the Deluxe room but it was a bit disappointing as the room did not really have the feeling to be more luxurious

Disappointed to say I was disappointed, for I'd looked forward to spending time here over Christmas. Biggest surprise was the most incredible view of Château de Vianden from my room. This was an unexpected highlight of the time spent in Vianden and is a wonderful memory I'll treasure. Some positives: Hotel Belle Vue is the hotel nearest the bus station; WiFi is strong; refrigerator in the room was a benefit; staff are nice and helpful. Breakfast options were numerous and wide-ranging--including cold cereal for which I was grateful--and since the espresso machine espresso was weak, I was thrilled to imbibe incredibly delicious chocolate milk!

Bathroom was cavernous and the shower stall was enormous, both of which were great...but there was no door on the shower, so water invariably pooled on the floor. The hotel restaurant food is fair. The vegetarian pasta as described was not what was presented at the table. One observation: the pop music played in the breakfast room was loud and intrusive and interfered with what could have been an ideal, peaceful meal enjoying the views out the windows.

Evening meal choice and quality of food not as nice as we have experienced at other places this holiday. No information given regarding swimming pool or anything else.

Silent, cosy and spacious room with sound-proof windows, spectacular view, very clean, big bathroom, friendly reception, central location.

Cold light in the room, no espresso machine in the room -- only instant coffee, no tea selection, no hooks for towels in the bathroom, shower-head was blocked, would have needed to pay extra for a bathrobe or a fresh towel, no slippers available, the carpets in corridors are worn off, the resting area seats near the sauna are old and worn off, only one sauna open, nowhere to leave eyewear before going to the sauna, no hooks for towels either.

Room was clean and tidy on arrival - evening meal was lovely - even if it did take 3 hours and because it was so slow was advised that the kitchen was closed for deserts - but allowed those of us that wanted a desert to have a cold one.

We liked the pool and the view from the balcony. The room was clean. A very nice location.

We arrived late at around 21:00 and the receptionist asked us to immediately pay for our stay (2 nights).. We usually pay on checkout so that did not feet nice. Uncomfortable beds, wornout squashed pillows we all woke up with a pain in the neck!, The door of the only bathroom in our family room had no lock... it felt as if the walls were made out of card board.. we could hear every single movement around coming from the other rooms and the hall way. There was a very annoying group that partied crazy all night and we could not sleep..It took others alot of knocking on the doors until they decided to finally quit the noise.. It was past 1:30 am when they finally stopped... Not a pleasant stay at all. I thought the hotel had a certain policy about the noise and the nuisance.

When we checked in, receptionist couldn't/wouldn't speak any english although it was advertised they speak 5 languages. Nearly walked out due to the language barrier. Very poor. Although the next person that came on spoke excellent english

Location and garage for the motorcycle, stayed many times at this hotel.

Our room looked tired and was very hot,found a fan in the wardrobe which helped.

The hotel was fine. We had a big room with terrace with an excellent view. It was nice to have an accessible swimming pool. The rooms were clean. Service and hospitality is very good. The breakfast is good. The menu from the restaurant has plenty to choose from and we regularly enjoyed a drink there. The food is simple but tasty.

The refrigerator didn't work. Toilets weren't cleaned after day 1, although everything was clean when we arrived. The pillows are light and thin, these could be better. Interior is fine but a bit outdated.
