Lovely hotel in the village and a delight to arrive there in full sunshine. The food at the hotel was amazing and all the hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful.

Very clean and comfortable accommodation, super attentive and friendly staff, love sitting at the "Stammtisch" and enjoy a tasty meal with the best Veltins on tap in the region provided by Klaus, the owner and chef! Home from home since 1974 for me and I was glad to be back after a long break due to Covid!

All good, keep it up! The internet can be intermittent but that wasn't a big issue for me.

Breakfast OK. Sufficient and tasty. OK. Excellent eggs

I estimate the bed frame to be from the 1970s. Repaired with a wooden board, but only halfway. The only solution was ..... sleep on the ground :-) The owner's mom just laughed after reporting my displeasure. Sleep a total of 3 hours. Headache and back pain. What was crazy .... the hotel demanded full payment of 100. Without any apology .... I refused to pay the full amount. So the angry mother of the owner gave a 25 Euro discount. Really funny discount for bad sleep headache and back pain. so watch out for room number 44.

Returning to Hotel Zur Post is always a treat: the hotel staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Feel free to ask at the desk for anything, even for places to visit in the area - we had a lady explain to us every step to reach a certain viewpoint, she even drew us a hand drawn map which was insanely adorable! The rooms are clean and spacious, this includes the bathroom which features all amenities. The breakfast is very good and the general atmosphere is very serene and quiet. Overall, it's a real pleasure to stay at Zur Post and I am happy to return every year for the Prophecy Fest from Balve :)

very traditional although decor was a little tired the location was stunning. unfortunately the lift was broken so there were several flights of stairs to manage to get to some of the rooms.

The toilet area in our bathroom, room 23 was very narrow which made manoeuvring difficult.

The breakfast was nice and the location was incredible. Really nice place to be! Definitely will go again!

There is nothing I can say wrong about it.

Typically German meals, good breakfast and friendly people.

WiFi in room was bad. Maybe add some repeaters?
