Met by the very friendly owner who took us to the lounge and explained everything we needed to know then showed us to our room. The room was very clean and everything in it plenty ofctea coffee and water even a small fridge. Breakfast was lovely served on piping hot plates and a self service for lots of cereals fruit ect x all in all a really nice hotel for the price x The personal room mugs added to a great touch .

Wasn't much to not like our room was a little small but not didn't really affect our stay. We were out at a function in South so a bit way out but for 1 night didn't matter.

The breakfast was fantastic value for money, and very tasty cooked to order. The beds was really comfortable had 2 fantastic nights sleep. The lady who owned it couldn't do enough for you ever so friendly such a lovely person warm and welcoming.

It was pretty far from the centre had to drive or catch tram that was the only downside.

The staff were great and so were the rooms couldn’t of been a nicer stay

The room was very good comfy bed. The owner said we could order a takeaway and eat in the communal area. Very friendly couple who own hotel. Breakfast was very tasty.

The breakfast was very good, the price was correct for the standard of the hotel & the room was clean with a comfortable bed.

The room I had badly needs to be redecorated It appeared to me it is many years since this has been fully done. The wallpaper is ancient & from a past time. Decor anywhere only has a certain shelf life & after a time you do not get the fresh smell that you get from a room that has been painted, even if it is clean.

Simon and Rhona are so welcoming and make you feel at home the breakfasts are so nice and a good selection everywhere was so clean and room was cosy clean and comfortable had everything you needed in a lovely quiet location away from busy town centre and within 5 min walk to the trams local convenience shops within a minute walk will definitely be returning next year

In all honesty there really wasn't anything we didnt like only thing really was the weather haha so rebooked for August next year

The couple who own it were the most attentive people I have met nothing was too much trouble and the both took the time to male sure we were comfortable at all times the bed was the most comfy bed I have ever stayed in all the places I have stayed and the breakfast was also the best

We could not get wifi properly in the room and just feel in this day and age it should be if it had worked properly in our bedroom I would have gave this stay a 10 all round as overall it was excellent

Simon and Rhona where very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. We were very close to the local tram and bus service so everything you wanted to do or see was accessable. The rooms were very clean and the breakfasts in the morning great.

We very much enjoyed our stay made so welcome breakfast was amazing plenty on offer a very friendly place to stay would definitely go back in the future

Lovely comfy accommodation, hosts go out of their way for you ,nothings to much ,good location, good choice of breakfast very filling. Birthday break for my husband which he really enjoyed.

The owners are exceptional - nothing was too much trouble and they went out of their way to ensure we had a great time. The bedroom was wonderfully themed and there were countless little touches in the decor, cleanliness and facilities that showed much thought and care. The breakfast was also of high quality with a wonderful selection and fine ingredients.

I can't think of anything I didn't like!

This is the second time we have stayed here and we love it. The hosts are the most friendly, helpful and lovely people. The breakfast, especially for three vegans, is superb and they really go out of their way to cater for us and make sure they have interesting veggie sausages etc. There is a lovely lounge downstairs where guests can sit when they want, but the rooms also had everything we needed. The rooms all now seem to have a fridge, which is great for storing drinks and snacks, and there is also a kettle and tea/ coffee items. The location is great and we could walk down the sea front to the tower and North Pier in about 25 minutes, or there is a tram nearby. Because it is not right in the centre, parking is no problem and we managed to park right outside the B&B. The price is amazing value considering the facilities and wonderful breakfast.
