The room was comfortable and I enjoyed that it was right on the Jardin. The staff was very nice. The room was pricey but nice.

The location is as central as can be.

The photos that we saw here on Booking were NOT the same hotel. I've never had this happen, and I have used Booking quite a lot. Our room was so mildew-y and musty that I immediately started getting allergic. It was no bueno! We tried to convince ourselves it would be ok, but we couldn't. In the end after much negotiating, though, the manager wound up switching us to another one of their properties called Casa 88 instead, and we LOVED it!

If you want location this is the definitely the place to stay it’s right in the center of town steps from the plaza and the church

Bathroom was not up to hotel standards for the price, the toilet seat was plastic and everytime we’d sit to use the bathroom the toilet seat would fold into the bowl and the person sitting on it with it. The shower was dark and its a small shower head for the space, took a long time to adjust the temp, plumbing needs to be updated.

This property was such a disappointment. Fixtures were dangling from the wall, furniture was old and dingy. Lamps where not working, faucets where not working properly. The shower was such a mess that the water would run into the bedroom. The rooms where stuffy and small. Imagine, water - air or sun= mold. I am sure several decades ago this property was in it’s prime. Unfortunately, the owners have done nothing to keep up with the charm you expect from San Miguel the Allende. If you are looking for that old world charm, this is not the place.

The only thing going for this property is the proximity to the main attraction (The Jardín.) That’s it!

Difficulty with the parking situation, noisy room and no ventilation made it a bit uncomfortable

perfectly situated. their best asset is their employees. I have never encountered such nice and accommodating people. I had left my car 3 miles away as I couldn’t find parking near by, one of the employees offered to pick it up and park it in the garage for me. That was a relief as I was with an elderly person

Dreadful experience.Dirty floors in a tired hotel. Towels not changed and room not serviced properly.Smell in bathroom and poor water flow and function in shower.No clothes hangers in closet.TV old and not working easily .

Location..? Maybe because is right in front of the plaza BUT.. you have to walk 2 blocks with your luggage.

You have to walk 2 blocks with the luggage, wait 45 minutes and call the hotel 3/4 times for someone to tell you WHERE is the valet parking with your car?!? You have to call 30 minutes in advance for the valet parking to show up on time 2 blocks from the hotel.. same as getting your car back .. you have to wait 2 blocks from the hotel for the valet parking to show up (we told the receptionist 30 in advance, then walk the 2 blocks and still have to wait 45 minutes for the guy to show up with my car. Very steep stairs, pictures look pretty but the rooms they show me where old, broken closet door, bathroom stunk like sewage :( there's better places close by...
