great central location with a lovely view of the harbour, fantasic en suite room with balcony overlooking the harbour, nice breakfast in the breakfast room overlooking the swimming pool and harbour, highly recommended.

all good except the shower which kept turning to boiling hot water every so often whatever temperature it was set to, definitely should be checked as could scald someone.

I had a delightful stay at the Perantzada. I miss it, especially the perfectly wonderful staff, Katerina, Haris, Ioanna, always smiling, friendly and willing to help in any way they could. The breakfasts were copious, well-prepared and worthy of note. The rooms are kept spotless. What an excellent place to spend a week on beautiful Ithaca! I am looking forward to my next visit!!

I cannot rate this property highly enough. From the location, amenities, furnishings and most of all the excellent staff, our stay here was memorable.

Location was perfect, 1 minute from the front. Breakfast was amazing. Chilling by the pool was beautiful. The room was fresh airy , had a balcony and a really comfortable bed. Katrina was super helpful and lovely!

Gorgeous view of Vathi, great location, great breakfast, sweetest proprietor, very comfortable mattress. A fun, arty designed hotel.

As others mentioned, the room was small but more difficult was the lack of places to put things. Balcony was wonderful, however!

Everything! Service is fantastic. The views are to die for.. It is close to all key places in Vathi, the port, taxis, restaurants. 9/10 min cab ride from the most beautiful beaches you would ever see. The breakfast is legendary. Couldn't have stayed in a better place.

My partner and I had a great four night stay here, the hotel is well designed and located is walking distance to everything in Vathy. The staff are wonderful and the breakfast superb.

Magnificent, vibrant hotel filled with stunning, unique artistic flair. Excellent location + beautiful view. 2 minute walk to harbour restaurants + supermarket. Outstanding breakfast. Antonio + staff were EXCEPTIONAL - warm, friendly, genuinely welcoming and committed to giving us the absolute best stay and experience of Ithaca island.

Room was extremely comfortable but we found the size too small. Fine for a quick stay, but would feel cramped if staying more than 3 nights in our particular room. Depends on how much luggage you are traveling with I guess!

Beautifully kept property in a perfect location. The staff were delightful. Thoughtful little extras like glasses of iced water and ice creams served by the pool without being asked for. Lovely breakfasts.

Fabulous location in the centre of Vathy, quirky hotel with small pool and stunning views across the harbour. Delicious breakfast and great poolside bar service. Amazing view from our 2nd floor room and large terrace. Comfy bed and Nespresso machine for morning coffee

A little more space around the bed would have been nice. Only room for one bedside table, it’s nice to have somewhere to keep your book, phone etc. no kettle in the room, would have liked to make a cup of tea as there was a very efficient fridge for milk .

The location was wonderful, the pool with spectacular views over the natural port and the sympathetic but contemporary design of the renovations to an old building

Absolutely wonderful hotel. Fantastic location. Beautiful rooms. We could not fault it or the staff who were FANTASTIC.

Breakfast was very good. The view was spectacular and the pool was lovely.

There was no lift. 72 steps up to our room . My husband has medical problems and found the steps very difficult. The stair design in the room was also difficult to ascend and descend especially in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. There are 3 rooms on this level and younger visitors would be fine. I feel this should be mentioned in the information. The bedside tables were not very practical. The husband and wife organise the breakfast themselves so no extra help to carry cases done the 72 steps. They did carry them up .

Views.Towelling robes and slippers were a nice touch. Breakfast was exceptional with amazing service. The location was bang on with easy access to beaches via taxi. Our hosts were simply lovely. The art spread around the hotel forums, staircases etc was quirky and very interesting.

Our room was a bit small, but the balcony and view more than made up for it. Unfortunately there was no tea making facilities in our room(plenty of coffee)

Very small room.

The personnel of the hotel, so warm and always available people. They treat us like kings. Always with a smile serving their delicious homemade breakfast goodies They are even able to read your mind, you will love the little ice cream at the pool in the middle of a hot day!

That we had to leave it

The location and the view were fantastic. The breakfast was also good. We really appreciated the effort that the staff put in to go above and beyond to help us feel comfortable - whether that was a welcome drink, or a coffee when we missed breakfast, they couldn’t have been more attentive and kind.

The room was very small so we lived out of our suitcases but we made it work.
