Perfect location and really clean.

The WiFi signal was weak.

The view was stunning from the balcony!! Such a beautiful spot to relax. Beds were comfortable and great aircon. Great coffee shop/bar at the bottom of the hill

Lack of parking & busy main road into town. Shower was a little basic and cramped but not really a priority.

Amazing view, the room was clean and with everything needed. Very nice pool and good location (better to have a transport tho)

We never saw the staff or owner but we heard from them. The shower didn’t have the attachment to the wall so it was a little bit unpractical and the water didn’t go down well, for the rest everything worked fine

Very nice spacious apartment and balcony, well maintained and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. It was lovely having a pool and the view was amazing!

I had a very nice room on the end which gave me more privacy. The view with table and chair overlooking the pool and sea was lovely. It was good to have a small swimming pool.

Quite a long walk to get to mini-market/ supermarket then long uphill stretch to carry provisions back.

The room was very clean, it was a beautiful view and an easy walk into the centre! The girl who met us at the property was lovely

The location was excellent. Lovely views and good positioning for access to the town and local amenities. The pool was a real bonus. The property was comfortable and cleanliness was outstanding with regular thorough cleaning etc.

The property could be improved by the addition of some basic utensils for cooking; mosquito repellent devices. Bit low on on crockery and glasses.

Good facilities, friendly staff, nice swimming pool. Very clean, balcony and great view.

Bit of a hill out of town, but knew that when booked no complaints.

Very disturbed sleep due to chsirs been moved around above at 1am and again at 4am.You need to put felt pads under chair legs to solve the problem. We should of stated two nights but only stayed one as had no sleep. Sunloungers very uncomfortable due to no cushions on them.We were very disappointed

Vathi is a beautiful location when visiting Ithaka. You have lots of choice of tavernas, supermarkets and car hire co's ... all very good. The property offers wonderful views being high up and as a bonus has a very nice small pool with parasols and bedchairs poolside .... quite rare in our experiences of visiting Greek Islands for over 40 years. Extremely good value.

Only one point .... if you are not fairly fit you may find the hill hard going when you return to the property on foot in the evening. The main centre of Vathi is about 10-15 mins walk .... most of it on the flat,waterside, but the last 5 mins uphill was hard going after a busy day, a meal and a few drinks but hey .... well worth it if you don't mind a steady climb. The other point is that the island is very popular with boats who can moor up at the many coves to have a swim. Those on foot will find it quite difficult as although there are many pebbly beaches around, they don't all have any facilities like toillets, food, water, sunbeds or parasols ... they are beautiful but 'wild'. Access to many even with a car is not easy either. On balance a great place for adults/singles but hard work I reckon for families with young children.

Excellent location, at the quieter, western (Dexia) side of town, eight minutes walk to good little taverna (Dentrakia)(drinks/snacks), maybe 25 to main town. Felt a little more relaxed than being on top of all the yachties and hustling closer to town. Pool made it for us; well maintained. Cleaning/changing linen happened every few days and was excellent and unobtrusive. Beautiful views across the bay. Gets welcome shade in afternoon. Effective awning for morning sun. Host, Vassilis, very helpful with information and did what he could to improve the internet.

Illuminated exit sign - surely unnecessary in a private residence - in the open-plan sitting room/ extra bedroom made sleeping difficult, with a green neon light permanently on (we taped it over). Similarly, old and noisy fridge rattles away throughout the night. Kitchen utensils and equipment could be improved (low quality and not really enough if more than two people in the apartment); also cleaning equipment (washing up and general household). Cleaner was excellent but, for example, no equipment to clean up one's own mess if necessary. Internet was intermittent, despite best efforts (perhaps using domestic service not up to serving half a dozen studios and two apartments). Could do with lock for bathroom door. Perhaps could do with different front door lock; it would be very easy to close the door without realising it locks you out automatically (and there's no way you could get back in without calling for help).

the swimming pool was wonderful, and the view, even from our bed, was so nice! Dexia beach was 12 minutes walk away and was really beautiful.

the steep hill was a struggle in the heat! there was not much privacy as the neighbours were very close next door.
