This is a lovely hotel housed in a historic building from 1645! My room was a perfect size for a solo traveler. There is a very nice cafe on the first floor and outside. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Character, location, staff, breakfast

Excellent staff especially check in. very helpful. Great position. Large room. Nice breakfast.

The old building was beautifully maintained, loved the common inner terrace and the room was stunning. The view was also a highlight, even though the balcony was not overlooking the lighthouse. Eva

The check in is very late and the check out too early. This has to stop because it is extremely inconvenient or I would suggest lowering the price significantly.

Awkward bathroom door

The staff is excellent, and the breakfast is very good

Our room is way too small for a couple. There is nowhere to walk or place suitcases. The bathroom is updated. Also, we would hear people walking above us, very disturbing when late at night. Walls very thin, smells musty.

The location was perfect- prime position right on the edge of the old harbour, next to the Maritime Museum. View from our room VII was wonderful - loved relaxing and watching the world go by from our balcony. There were a few flights of stairs to climb to get to our room so wouldn't be suitable for people with mobility issues but was worth the climb ( building is old so doesn't have a lift) The room and bathroom were very clean and spacious. Bathroom products were excellent quality. Staff were welcoming and breakfast delicious. Loved being right in the old town - so lovely to wonder in the twisting little streets Very happy I chose this hotel
