the bed was up a steep flight of stairs(the heat rises and it’s extremely warm up there but living room and kitchen was cold, it was a double bed(way too small) and the toilet seat kept sliding sideways(I almost fell on the floor)

Wonderful room situated right in the centre of Saint emilion. It has a great kitchen area with all the cooking utensils and cups for eating and drinking. The bed is really comfortable and the apartment also has air conditioning.

Sofa bed was not stable once opened out and so not suitable for more than one person. Toilet seat was loose and needs repair or replacement.

The receptionists at the nearby hotel tried their best when they realised our shock on seeing the property. They offered us access to a sitting area and use of the car park. They were shown the images of the property that we had seen and recognised the confusion that this had caused. They helped us turn off the annoying air conditioning.

This is a space which was uncomfortable, and impossible to function in at a practical level. Ill-designed, poorly thought out and badly maintained. It did not match what we thought we were getting. There are three studios, and despite attempts to offer higher level bedding and towels, this cannot make up for the sheer exhaustion caused by steep steps to the bed area, and no space anywhere to do anything easily. There is a difference between 'quirky' and unusable.

I cant fault the apartment at all as it was a great little place. However, it is a beautiful property, in the most perfect location.

The only downside is that i was travelling with 2 small children and unbeknown to me it was a mezzanine apartment which could have proved potentially very dangerous as two of the beds were on this level, with the double bed pulled up close to the mezzanine bannister which the children could have toppled over at any point. We had to barricade the stairs with our suitcases to stop them from going upstairs. I would recommend the property to be a bit more cautious when renting to families so they are aware of the dangers.

great little apartment in the middle of St. Emillon just perfect

the location, the amazing staff, the price, the hospitality, it had air conditioning, it was clean, in the middle of the village, great communication with the reception, they hold our luggage, helped us with everything even drove to the railway.

Honestly it was kind of warm upstairs as with every inside balcony, and the bed is leaning somewhat.

The air con was a good bonus in thee heat. The views and central location were fab.

Great location in the heart of beautiful St Emilion. Check in was easy and simple and the space is small but well organised and everything you need. Good value for money here and you can't beat the location!

The bed and pillows weren't to our comfort and the bathroom door slides but doesn't lock - fine for us but maybe not to everyone's taste! Also a climb via steep wooden stairs to the bed which may not suit all.

Enjoyed the city for a few days, with a great staff, a free wine tasting next door and recommendations for all local activities. The train into the city and nearby venues was simple as can be. Driving through the local vineyards was a special treat as well. Highly recommended.

Nice space, with kitchen, hairdryer, iron, washing machine, AC. Overall very well equipped. We got a free wine tasting in the wine store next door :)
