Such a beautiful and peaceful place. We explored St Emillion all day and went back to the hotel pool during the hottest part of the day. We even chided to have a light meal prepared by our host! Everything was wonderful. My only wish is that we could of dropped our bags early upon arrival, we did not have a car so had to sit inSt Emillion for 3 hours with our luggage waiting to be able to go to the hotel to check in:-(. Too bad there wasn’t a locker available for people in our situation. I highly recommend this place. The breakfast was outstanding, the bed comfortable too! Thanks so much!

Everything! Jean Francois and Laurent were the perfect hosts and made us feel welcome. They were super helpful with recommendations and made bookings for us, all of which were excellent. The room, pool, breakfast and setting are just wonderful, we were sad to leave and already look forward to returning.

everything about la Gomerie was superb. Jean Francois is a wonderful host and made us feel at ease. He was very helpful - wrote the route through the vineyards to access the city, recommended restaurants and wineries to visit. He was very attentive to our needs. recommended

This stay was absolutely excellent! The host met us at the start and welcomed us warmly. The facilities were beautiful and the beds were amazingly comfortable. Our host provided excellent recommendations throughout our stay and even called and made bookings for us. The outside gardens were a delight if I could give this location an 11 I would.

Peaceful setting, lovely and kind hosts. Jean-Francois and Laurent were quick to help with restaurant reservations in Saint-Emilion which is a short and beautiful walk through the vineyards from the property. Evenings superb with their delicious charcuterie and quiche in the restful gardens. Rooms large and beds comfortable with impeccable linens. This property and hosts are treasures.

Everything was great- we really enjoyed our stay. The hosts were very helpful and gave us some great advice, the room was comfortable and clean, and the outdoor areas were very nice. Highly recommend.

We are fairly regular visitors to St Emilion but this was our first stay at La Gomerie. It is beautifully set surrounded by vineyards on the outskirts of town and you can have a beautiful walk through the vines (rather than the road) to town. The hosts were incredibly helpful and gave us a brilliant recommendation for an entertaining evening. The rooms at La Gomerie were perfect and really well thought out. Bonus was a/c for our friends from Scotland who were melting in the late summer heat! Breakfast was outstanding. We really should have spent another night or two but didn't have time. The pool looked really inviting and it would have been fun to do more in the area. Next time for sure!

Breakfast was plentiful and fresh and setting was just so pretty to take the breakfast in the lovely gardens. The new pool is an amazing addition to this property. Comfy spacious rooms, everything you need with a lovely view over the surrounding vineyards

Everything! Beautiful authentic B&B that is run to a very high standard yet feels very relaxed and friendly. The rooms and outside areas are all beautifully done. Great pool and area to relax. The owner went above and beyond to accommodate us and also arranged bikes which made getting to the vineyards and town so easy. Lovely walk or cycle into St Emilion town within 10 mins. Breakfast in the morning was so fresh and delicious. You won’t regret booking to stay!

We had an amazing stay at La Gomerie. It is such an amazing location. Our host Jean-François gave us advice on where to go and booked our reservations at the local restaurants and wineries for a tour. The underground one in the cellars of a neighbouring vineyard is recommended as they also share some history about the village of Saint-Emillion. Breakfast was superb and was served in the garden. The pool area is lovely for relaxing in the afternoon. We will definitely book again when traveling in this area.

We loved our stay at La Gomerie - it completely exceeded our expectations with a beautiful pool and relaxation areas that you can't see in the photos - and lots of spots surrounded by vineyards for a drink in the evening or a picnic. Breakfast was great and served in the lovely garden. We walked into Saint Emilion which is doable and we really enjoyed walking through the vineyards.
