Bed very comfortable. Room large and has outdoor patio around a lake. Very pretty garden. TV and internet worked well.

Air Conditioner on heat was not adequate as room was large with very high ceiling. Room very modern but seemed 'stark'. No freezer compartment in fridge. Restaurant closed.

Great design/decor, lovely lake and pool facilities on site. Very cool resort vibe with the restaurant/bar too so it meant you had everything you needed on site. Which is unexpected for a small town like Nambucca. Free bikes were a plus too, as we cycled along the river toward town for fish and chips. At door parking made it easy to unpack/pack.

Two very minor things: 1. Very young and polite staff in the restaurant but somewhat green. Need to be a little more on the ball and better at communicating. Mixed up our orders and gave us a different meal then didn’t acknowledge the dish had ran out leaving for us to guest/ask questions. However did see to it we got the drinks taken off the menu. 2. Decor in the whole hotel is great however the random hairdryers are the outlier! Look like they are from the 70s and were meant to be attached to the wall but just lose under the sink with the bracket unit just dangling around. I used it and my hair got stuck dramatically in the motor which was painful and briefly traumatic. My hair was half eaten. Suggest then bin them and spend $20 on a cheap new one that doesn’t eat guests hair.

Everything about this property was fabulous. The grounds are stunning. The rooms are simple and tastefully furnished with fun art, think Slim Aarons done with barbie! And we loved the private courtyard with the lovely coloured walls. The staff were super friendly and accommodated our early arrival.

It is a shame the restaurant is closed and has been for some time, however I understand that is outside the hotels control. The bed was a little too firm for me but it didn’t impact our stay.

Travelling with pets and having to book into pet friendly accommodation is very difficult during peak seasons .This accommodation was spotless and extremely comfortable for us and our Labradoodle . We need a stop point to visit family in QLD.If anything, our dog misbehaved a little,he has developed anxiety when he can't see us due to husband now fully retired and is home all day ,so this anxiety is new to us travelling from Sydney to QLD .Thankfully, management were understanding and considerate to our dog's newfound separation anxiety. There were also bowls and a dog blanket for our dog .The resort had extremely friendly staff . Once we got back from buying our dinner, we all enjoyed the peaceful serenity of the resort.I also noticed other little things for example ,good quality shampoo and conditioner,soft towels,new and comfortable beds

Would have been good if restaurant was open to avoid having to go out to look for dinner as that area looked very inviting too.
