Lovely Room! Hardwood floors. Appears to be clean. Nice sized bathroom with rainfall shower. Nice long desk with a comfortable chair, cute love seat sofa. Strong AC! Counter staff are wonderful! Breakfast included - has mostly traditional Taiwanese breakfast (porridge, steamed buns, tea eggs, bread that you can toast, some runny eggs, hashbrowns, noodles and other things I passed on. The drinks are nice though - I went with peach juice. There is a coffee machine and also popcorn and fresh fruit.)

Room 308 - THIS bathtub is a nice idea but it is NOT sealed and if you try to use it - it will sink down from the frame. Hence - NOT SAFE! The hotel needs to fix this issue. It made the tub useless and unsafe in my opinion. The BED IS SO HARD. It looked lovely but OMG - my bones still hurt! There was no control over people not wearing masks when taking food at the buffet breakfast. Kids running around (TW has a big boost in covid cases right now and more care should be taken). Gloves should be provided for taking food so that if people touch their face or mouth then touch the serving spoons or tongs - the other people are protected! BIG issue that THE FRONT DESK IS NOT ENFORCING PEOPLE TO USE HAND SPRAY OR SCAN THE QR CODE for contract tracing. They didn't even ask me!

Non smoking room requested at booking but there’s still heavy smoke smell in our room even the same when we upgraded and moved to another one. City promotion offers $400 shopping coupons each day, staffs didn’t pass it to us until we found it out from friends about the promotion and asked for it.
