Fantastic!!! Great location, close to the shops, bars and beach. The rooms have everything you could need - comfy beds, modern bathrooms and well-equipped kitchenettes. The rooftop has beautiful views and plenty of space to sit. The staff are really kind and helpful. Definitely a great place to stay to enjoy Málaga.

Great value for the money

it was good to arrive whilst there was still someone on reception. The bed was comfortable and the location was good.

The living area of the property and the equipment was very worn and in need of a little attention. The shower leaked badly and space was limited. I had not fully appreciated the property was on two levels and to get to bed we had to climb a metal staircase.

The location is good and convenient. The room is generally clean.

The studio is extremely small. Can hardly turn around in the shower. The facilities are quite old and the toilet smells. I was with a child but they only provided one towel. There's also no tea or coffee or any condiments which are usual practice with places like this. It is also quite noisy, both due to people going out in the city centre and people walking around in the hotel.

Apartment is located conveniently in downtown. Bed was very comfortable. It was quiet at night. Check in was easy.

My room was smaller than expected. It seems it was an old apartment that was divided into 5 microapartments with basic amenities. It was okay for one night but, in my opinion, it would have been a little claustrophobic for a longer stay.

Apartmant is in the city center, at a walking distance from all of the main turistic places. Neighborhood is good and safe, and also bar at the rooftop is great. Staff is extremly welcoming and nice. Kitchen is a bit old, but it's functional. Overall, I would definatelly stay in Apartamentos Marques de la Merced again and would recommend it to everyone.

Supliances are a bit old, but everything is functional. A bit of humidity in a room.

There was a party floor above so a bit noisy!

The apartment was extremely well located in the old town. It was very easy to find after an easy trip from the airport, via the airport bus 'A' (get off at the last stop and walk for about 7 minutes), The manager,Tarek, was extremely helpful, polite and personable. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The kitchenette had everything I needed. There was very good, free wifi and an air conditioner / heating unit .

My apartment was on the top floor, with access to a shared terrace and bar area. The bar was open until 23:30 and some evenings were a little loud. But they informed me about this before I booked the room. Otherwise, it was a quiet building.

Great central location easily accessed by public transport and on the doorstep of many attractions. Good facilties including a washing machine, microwave and hob.

The advertised terrace is a tiny rooftop bar with public access which gets incredible noisy and can be heard throughout the building.

Fabulous studio in such a beautiful building, with so many original features and so sensitively restored. In a super area for all the historic sites and delights! Wonderful friendly staff! Tarik on check in was so welcoming & kind & everyone delightful. Roof terrace bar very quirky with great views!

Reception was still open when I arrived and was welcomed the moment I stepped through the door. If it hadn't have been open I had all the instructions needed to gain access. Very professional and reassuring.

Excellent location for fortress, castle, cathedral and many beautiful sites. Also lots of restaurants close. Basic, clean, compact duplex for 1 or 2 people.Narrow metal stairs take you up to bedroom. I loved the quirkey terrace bar but noise wise might not be for everyone. I had a great stay. Thankyou

Sound profing between apartments. Otherwise all good

The staff member working on the day we arrived gave us good instructions on how to get in as we arrived after 6pm. The location was very central and easy to find. The shower was very nice and the apartment was clean. Decent WiFi network. They offer to keep hold of bags upon checkout if you need to collect them later and that was a useful service for us.

Not having been in a lift like it previously, it worked with a key. We ended up going to the top floor and were met by a rude man who had a go at us for not understanding how the lift works. Not a great first impression. Also we were given sachets of sugar but no coffee to have it with.

The location is excellent, right in the old city with cafes and shops close by. For a short stay this is excellent and very good value for money, The room has a microwave, hob, kettle, washing machine and a modern en-suite bathroom. It's not super luxury but for the price, it's a good deal.

The bed was a little uncomfortable and the lack of an outside window isn't great, but again I would refer you to the price you pay. If you want a balcony, then pay more. This is a convenient self-contained unit.

I had a compact but comfortable front facing single room with balcony and many facilities including kitchenette with fridge, toaster, micro, hob and clothes washing machine. Location was great for lively La Merced square, the vast array of restaurants and tavernas in the surrounding streets, several local great museums and only a very quick walk into the old town. WiFi never failed. Reception very helpful. Good security locks on the elevator and each floor.

-we had to wait in front of the gate for a while, -bed could be better , it is soft but not very ergonomic -I was waken up because I could able to hear top floor people walking and phone sound.
