The best thing about our stay were incredible sunrises from our balcony. The balcony is really big and we spent amazing evenings there drinking wine and enjoying the city lights. Also it was great to have the opportunity to use the hotel pool with amazing ocean view. A huge and cheap supermarket is in 1 min walk from the apartment. A big thanks to our super friendly host who was always ready to help and made our arrival to Madeira unforgettable.

If you come to come from home to home and have a chance to relax...it is your place If you want to escape to paradise, it is the shortest way. This apartment is the coziest place ever. Everything you need is there from simple toaster to washing machine, iron and just all the simple things than can make you stay comfy. Incredible apartment with view that all the Instagram friends will envy. The terrace is the place where all your bad thoughts will simply fade away. The location of the apartment is brilliant, since the airport shuttle bus stop is just in front, the best shopping mall is there with everything you need, and what is more, the beach where you can enjoy the best Atlantic Ocean view ever is 15 mins on foot. Black sand and super photos, is that what you need. Now the most important part… The owner JAIME, person with beautiful and loving heart, who will be your family there and not only. He is very friendly and welcoming, helps you with everything you need. The one to become your family even after you visit Madeira. P.S. If you have books to leave for others to read, don’t hesitate, in this apartment if a huge library from guests in different languages of the world, leave your book there for other to enjoy the read with you. Plus, there is a piggy bank in shape of a yellow cat, leave a coin and make a wish)

I want especially praise our host - Jamie - for helping us when we managed to lock ourselves out. Late at night. He had to come, driving, and open the flat for us. The flat has a nice touch of a real home, nice break from a hotel uniformity. Fast, reliable wifi. Large balcony, the flat is on 8th floor, so view is good. Sea is only partial, the flat is oriented towards city center; you can also see mountains above Funchal. Nice swimming pool with great views. Not crowded at all. And we were there at high season. It's very easy to get to the center and back with buses. Bus stop is literary in front of the complex and buses are frequent. Aerobus, bus from and to the FNC airport, also stops there. Very handy.

Nothing really. Just nitpicking: we struggled to find where are rubbish bins outside. When found, it all seem to be sorted refuse, we didn't sort it. Practical note in the flat about such things would be helpful. Be aware: the property is close to the see, as you can see on the map, but there is no accessible beach nearby. There are two paid lidos nearby, but you have to walk a bit. Free beach is even much further.

Jaime is very nice host. He showed us his studio while we landed and then we felt there like we were at home. The location is very nice with many restaurants nearby. You can use bus stop in front of the accomodation as well as shopping mall right over the street. We had a pleasant stay in Madeira, the best island ever ♥

Jaime was an excellent host, very kind, welcoming and helpful. The apartment is close to excellent shops, restaurants and bus stops. The pool area and pool bar are peaceful and overlook the sea. The apartment has sea and city views. I liked everything this apartment offers.

The apartment is in the best location. At Lido, close to the sea, close to Forum Madeira with many good shops, many good restaurants in the area and bus stop to Aerobus and Citybus just outside the door. It is a lovely apartment for two people, who can satisfy most needs. From the large lovely balcony there are great views of the city and the sea. The host Jaime is unique. He does everything to make you feel like a valued guest. Jaime is never further than a phone call away. We met him as a host, and left him as a friend.
