Our breakfasts were superb with a great choice of food from cereals , fruit ,yoghurts to full English cooked to perfection Liked having our own front door , meaning we could come and go at our leisure without disturbing fellow guests. Bernie and Dave were the perfect hosts they made us feel very welcome and were extremely easy to get on with. Our lodge room was large with everything you would expect it even had a fridge which was very handy ! Also having use use of the large garden with tables and chairs for our own use. Very peaceful spot and lovely to see cows in the morning and evening in the adjacent field.

The breakfast was excellent. The bed was extremely comfortable. The room was located onto the gardens in a very good position.

The room could have done with better lighting. The bathroom wash basin plug needed attention. Some bulbs had failed.

The staff at Crown House and Lodges were lovely really helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The breakfast was made to perfection. The accommodation was great it was excellent value for money and we will definitely go again.

Superb hosts, from start to finish, they made us comfortable, allowed us to cone and go as we pleased, provided extras such as use the kitchen and TV lounge, honesty bar, great location. A very personal service, an excellent breakfast and apple trees and facilities within the garden which we could have used more if we'd had better weather. Overall, an excellent stay.

The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff were very welcoming and offered good advice about the local area. Breakfast was excellent.

Dave and Bernie were great hosts, really friendly and helpful. The place is an Ideal location for touring the south of Cornwall - everything within 20 mins. Our lodge was lovely and clean and the breakfast was delicious! Thank you for a lovely stay.

When we first arrived at the property, it didn't look to great from the front, however, once we were in the lodges, I must say, they were to a good standard. Breakfast was very good, in general, very good value for money. Only downside, a little bit remote, we were walking the South West path, however, if using a car then no issue

Right from arrival they are so friendly and accommodating and cannot do enough for you. We stayed in Bramble lodge which was stunning, spacious and spotlessly clean, the facilities are second to none and I can’t recommend a stay here highly enough, beautiful place and lovely people, will definitely come again when in the area.

Quiet comfortable lodge in a garden environment and good location about 8 mins drive to the sea. The owners were friendly and helpful and provided a substantial well cooked breakfast. Access to the breakfast room was important for takeaways as pubs and restaurants were not fully open when we visited. Overall a very enjoyable visit.

Blackout curtains would have helped as the room was light in the early morning.

we’ve celebrated our daughters fourth birthday during our stay in B&B and we’ve received a lot of kindness from Bernie and Dave, thank you, spotless rooms, outstanding breakfast, fabulous location, thank you Bernie and Dave we will definitely come back and stay in your B&B again

Only a small note to say that the shower head was loose couldn't be kept over head. Keep dropping.

Bed and mattress was great, room was clean, owner was friendly and breakfast was perfect. Would gladly visit again. Interesting selection of puzzles and games to keep the kids entertained while waiting for the breakfast to be prepared. Thank you!

Great knowledgeable hosts who provide a great breakfast! We were really happy with our stay here as it provided an excellent base location to drive to every coast, we'd definitely return. Our dog loved it too!
