From the time we reserved to the time we left the house, the communication was always immediate. Any question we had was answered. It had every item and more listed on the website. My family and I had the best time cooking out and enjoying the beautiful weather. We all want to go back and stay for a few more days.

The property was easy to access with the directions given. The directions were extremely helpful and detailed. The property looked just as described and shown in photos. We had to wait one day to use to jacuzzi due to sand being inside prior to our arrival however, it was taken care of and cleaned quickly. The property owner was at attentive and easy to get in contact with. My children had a great time. I would definitely stay again

We had a great time... brought our sxs and no problems the fit in the garage, we had now worries with having the guard gate so close.. the neighbors were very nice and the staff was awesome.. we will be back.

It’s the corner house and the surrounding walls are very low. There are about two dozen huge windows but without any curtains neighbors can see directly into the home. That being said we still had a wonderful time. The Jacuzzi was ready to go right when we checked in. I told the host it was my sons birthday and they left little balloons in the house for him which we all thought was such a sweet touch. The house was extremely clean and there is PLENTY of sleeping space. Great for bigger families! The view is amazing and the estuary is beautiful. It’s a very quite neighborhood, and feels very safe! We very much enjoyed our stay and will be returning next year to celebrate again!

Property was perfect for our race team. Plenty of room and more than enough beds. Was a little light on cookware and the coffee pot was cracked so we picked up a new one.

Everything went terrific. We all had a great time. My wife and I have stayed in punta banda many times and enjoyed having our family with us this time. Thanks for everything

My family had a great time. The house was big enough for everyone to have their own room. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepared a family meal. The pool and the jacuzzi made our vacation time fun.

Esther was great to us and our family from beginning to end. She answered all of our questions even before we reserved. Once the date to travel arrived we requested arriving a day earlier and she accommodated us gracefully. We arrived at the house and it was cold but we turned up the thermostat (first floor hallway) and the house warmed up automatically. The house is not luxurious but its spacious and 3/5 rooms have their own bathroom, which is awesome! The bunk room and other room share a bathroom so there are 4 bathrooms total. After a day or two we requested some cleaning supplies and blankets and Esthers housekeeper came by right away and supplied us with what we needed promptly. The beach is right down the street of a really calm neighborhood and it is beautiful. The chairs provided for guest use in the garage are perfect! Calimax (grocery store) is a short drive away. We got a lot of rain during our stay and the tile got a a little slippery. We didn't get a chance to use the hot tub, the kids did use the playground but the beach was far more fun when we had the chance to go out there. Thank you so much Esther for welcoming our big family into your home. You are a very gracious and kind host!

Unfortunately So Cal and Mexico experienced some wet weather which caused loss of electricity and some water in the house. The next morning all blue skies and ready to explore outdoors in the surf and sand. Great place to relax.

Esther was fantastic with timely responses to our inquiries. Marina restaurant & bar is a short walk and the staff were very welcoming. Food was excellent. Significant rain on the peninsula made for a few challenging scenarios. Nevertheless. would definitely stay at Villa Baja Barr again.

The property is well suited for groups with several bathrooms, and rooms including a room perfect for younger ones with bunkbeds. The jacuzzi was great to relax in, and the jungle gym for kids was great. It's too bad there isn't shade in the outdoor space, would have been great to have! The kitchen had all the essentials, including coffee amenities, and cooking utensils. The location was nice, close enough to walk to the quiet beach and to the restaurant, though we didn't visit the restaurant on our visit. The owner was very accessible and friendly in answering questions as well as accommodating late check-out requests.

We had such a great and relaxing time, highly recommend the property!

We loved the home and owners flexibility and availability. Only suggestion would be adding jacuzzi fees into cost of room. It’s easy to overlook fine print. That additional fee along with service and cleaning fee resulted in much more than the estimated 300 a night.

Plenty off space great for big family’s will definitely rent again We had small issue and christy was on top of it she answered the phone an help us right away the only thing part of nature is the mosquitoes NEED TO BRING REPELLENT they have candles an citronella sticks the problem is when you go out!!!

My in laws and I spent a long weekend here. The house, neighborhood, and beach are very beautiful. There were 9 of us so we needed a house with at least 5 rooms and this one fit the bill perfectly. The beach is almost empty so there is plenty of room to spread out. The restaurant across the street was only ok but the fish tacos at the stands where you turn off the 23 were the best I’ve had. The only draw back for the house is that the tap water is salt water. This is normal for islands and peninsulas and the owners provided us with 2 cases of water when we arrived but it was still a surprise when I went to brush my teeth the first night. Also the dirt road of the 23 is very bumpy so take it slow and make sure you car has a good suspension. All in all it was a great trip and I would defiantly stay here again.

This house developed and maintained to entertain family. Management kind and accessible. Kind neighbors. Short walk to beautiful beach. Good security (gated community) with helpful guards. Country feel yet easy access to shopping/dining. Will be back!

We had a wonderful long weekend staying at this house! There was 15 of us and there was plenty of room for everyone. The house is a short walk to a secluded beach. We literally had the beach to ourselves each time we were there. We loved how the beach water was very calm, no big waves or hard currents. All in all we loved it and we are ready to plan our next trip!!

My favorite part about the house was that it was big enough for my huge family to reunite and have space to ourselves at the same time. I loved the location because the beach was practically empty which was surprising considering that it was during the Fourth of July! Esther was extremely Great about responding to my questions and her responses were almost instant! Overall one of my favorite trips of all time !

Overall me and my family had a great time staying at this property. There was 12 of us and we had plenty of room for everyone. Really nice airflow through the whole house when the windows are open so you don't have to worry about getting hot. The beach front is walking distance from the house which is nice and very convenient when u have kids and elders in your group. Kids loved the community pool also. The kitchen is nicely furnished with pots and pans etc. I took some of my own from home just in case and ended up not even using them. The fridge is a little small but we made it work. To sum it all up, if your looking for a property with plenty of room for a large family or group then this is the right place for you. The owner is very responsive and accommodating. Our stay was very comfortable here!

1. The house is in decent shape. Not terrible but not great either. It was raining during our stay and it was leaking from the ceiling so we had to put a bucket to avoid slippery floor. The house has basic furniture & can easily accommodate 15 people. We brought our very own clean linens, bed sheets, beds and pillows' covers and even our own bath towers (even the owner provided all of that). 2. Location is 40 min from downtown Ensenada and less than 15 min from La Bufadora. Roads were bumpy and muddy on my travel days. It's guard gated so it's safe but the outside and inside looks pretty rundown. There would be nothing to do after dark. It can be nice in the summer when you can go to the beach in 5-10 min. The entire subdivision needs serious upkeep and some of the houses nearby are completed burn down and neglected. It's quite an unpleasant scene. 3. Owner is responsive and pretty easy to get a hold of except for one evening when we couldn't open the door with provided access code. It was pitch dark, cold and our two families with children were pretty panic. We later got access to the house after multiple attempts to contact owner but unfortunately, we later found out another major problem that the house was running out of gas. We bought a lot of seafood from the fish market and we couldn't do any cooking. It's a disaster when there was no hot water or no shower for everyone after a full day of activities and it was extremely cold at night when there was no heat. Trust me, Ensenada can be that cold on rainy late December nights. We, of course, informed the owner immediately but were told there was nothing she could do at 6:00PM. The helper came the following morning at 9:00 AM so the entire time we spent in the house for one day was just a horrible experience. We spent 5 nights total and the incidence happened on the 3rd night. We booked 2 nights at first and extended 3 more nights with a discount (after the 1st night stay) because it was around Christmas and we didn't want to move to other location since we found enough activities to do in Ensenada. We receive no compensation after that incidence and later were told that discount has been applied. But again, keep in mind that we got the booking and paid in full before that incidence happen. We just wish the owner handles the house upkeep and the situation better. 4. To other travelers: it maybe OK to book in warm summer months but I would avoid at all cost during winter or spring time.

The home was spacious, a wonderful place to host a family get-together. Although the home does show its age a bit, it was not a factor that affected our stay. All the appliances worked, we did not run out of hot water or cooking gas which has happened at other properties I've rented in the past. Over all, taking into account other properties I have rented here in Ensenada I would rate this home at the top and the owner/manager easy to deal with. I would recommend this home for families looking to be a bit away from the hustle of the city in a quiet setting.

It was great very nice place plenty of room for a lot of stuff and has everything you would have at your own home. Nice view also has plenty of chairs for company and a grill for you to barbecue. There's a pool in the center of the surrounding units and a pool table. Would definitely recommend it for large groups and will definitely be renting the place again.
