This place was in a nice location. Not far from restaurants or the beach. Had alot of space for everyone. Everyone I was with enjoyed out stay. Would definitely come back in the future.

Nice place, plenty of space for our group of 8. Easy walk to the beach and boardwalk. Also close to convention center. It does get a bit noisy for the bedrooms facing the road at night. Overall we enjoyed our stay here.

We stayed at this property for 4 nights in June 2022 to celebrate our daughters high school graduation. We had 3 teens (age 18), 3 adults and 1 child (age 12). Overall we enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of room for our entire group and the listing and pictures were accurate - it's a nice house. It's a great value for the price we paid. Cons: 1. The property wasn't as clean as I'd expect. The floors were dirty. Walking around the house left the bottom of our feet black. 2. The location isn't great - there's a 7/11 in front of the property and a dilapidated apartment building on one side. Pros: 1. Besides what I detailed in my first paragraph, I wanted to callout the great customer service of their property manager Grace. Besides being quick to respond to any of our questions, I left my medication in the fridge and didn't realize it until the day after we left. She responded quickly to my email, found my medication and overnighted it to me. I had it by the next day. Thanks Grace!

Wonderful location for our family gathering.

We were in town for my daughters wedding - and this location allowed two sets of grandparents and twenty- somethings stay together for quality time. Also very convenient to the wedding location at VA MOCA. Beds were comfortable, and plenty of space to gather and get the last minute details completed! Would recommend again for sure!

As advertised and super convenient for tournament stay

We had a wonderful stay here to ring in 2022 with good friends and family. The place was just amazing. So nicely decorated, convenient location and all around just super happy with our pick. We will definitely be back!

Second year that we have stayed at this VRBO. Property Manager is easy to deal with and the townhome is very clean. No issues at all and enjoyed our stay.

Refreshing and new with modern flair. The property is well located regarding distance to the beach however on a business road/noisy and across from a very active late night 7-11. There was an accident at the stoplight which could be heard inside the house. For a five bedroom there should be more outdoor seating chairs (only comes with two on lower balcony) and No where to eat outdoors and no grill included with the beach rental which is ridiculous. Yes you can rent one but really? It was cheaper to buy. We will stay again. Overall we would recommend this place and we loved the staff.

Our house was exactly what we expected from the description and pictures. It was fully stocked with everything we needed (pots, pans, towels, toiletries, dishes, and much more). Parking was so close and easy to access. Storage closet on the porch was a great locked space to store all our outside/beach gear. Everything in the kitchen worked great, but the dishwasher was the all-star. We had a three families staying, so it was put to work and fantastic. Bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, bathrooms were clean, nice sized and we were glad there were 4 of them. The 1/2 bath on the first floor was great to have. Shepard and staff were a pleasure to work with and answered every question quickly. We would definitely stay here again. We were within walking distance from the beach and several amazing restaurants. There is a gas station directly across the street which was super convenient. Several of the bedrooms do face a very busy street with noise throughout much of the night. We were lucky and brought white noise machines with us. This is of no fault to the owners. My only suggestion would be to add more couch seating to the downstairs family room. There are kitchen chairs and stools for everyone , but another couch or a few recliners would be great. Property is lovely and just as described. Sheppard was incredibly responsive and helpful with a handful of questions that we had when we arrived. She also made some great recommendations for dining which we took advantage of. Most were aligned with our expectations! The beach rentals and grocery service offered were super helpful and made our arrival very smooth and worry free. Thanks for a great week!

The large kitchen made cooking for our crowd roomy. A few more large pots and pans would have made it more convenient. Our three generation family had a great week sharing this property!!

This was a great place for our family to gather. The condo has everything we needed. We have rented several vrbo properties with varied experiences. I would highly recommend The Tidewater!

One of the reasons I chose this place was because of how spacious it was and the large family I was bringing into it. It certainly lived up to it's expectations. My only complaint in the curtains on the windows (which is a small complaint) but there's an extra window above the already there windows that placed there for aesthetics, I’m sure, anyways a lot of light runs through in the early morning, so sleeping in is a little tougher. Looks nice though on the “bright side.” but besides that little detail the place is great, location is very good, small 10 minute walk from the beach, super close to the exciting parts of town, nice restaurants around it, and 7 eleven is right across the street which was very convenient for when we forgot some essentials or needed milk or what ever. Our group enjoyed the home is well set up and looks exactly like the listing. Although most of the house was clean the sheets had yellow stains, the master bathroom had hair on the mirrors, and some trash was left over from previous guests. There are only 3 tv’s in the home only one of which is in a bedroom. We enjoyed that there were multiple spaces to hang out and spend time together. The beds were comfortable and checking in and out is a very simple process. If you are going to stay in this property be prepared for the stairs. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

The townhouse is beautiful and well kept. The layout is perfect for a group of friends. Everything you need is stocked in the house and the location is perfect if you want to be close to the beach but not in the middle of the hotel area. We will definitely come back.

We had a great experience renting this property. Everything was exactly as shown on the VRBO website, and the townhouse and community property have been maintained to a high standard, including cleanliness. Sheppard was an amazing host, and very responsive to our questions. She also provided pre-arrival guidance, as this was our first trip to Virginia Beach. The welcome materials were super helpful for a quick orientation of the property, and things to do in Virginia Beach. Thank you again for a great rental experience and vacation!

If you want to get a good night sleep, I would not recommend this house. It is located on a busy street and the traffic kept me up most of the night. Also the blinds allow light to come thru so you can't sleep in. The construction is poor and the noise from 1st level can be heard all the way to the 3rd floor. Also, there was serious crime only 2 blocks away. The house is cute and nicely decorated though.

My family and I enjoyed our stay this weekend at in Virginia Beach. If we are back in the area, this would definitely be an option. Sheppard, you were so friendly to work with...thank you again for everything. A few things we would like to mention would be: 1. Slow drain - 2nd floor bathroom (shower rack was broken) 2. TVs in bedroom did not work 3. More pots, pans and serving dishes would be nice 4. More dusting for cobwebs 5. Consider extra throw blankets (family room was a little cold) Besides those items, this was a lovely stay. TL
