The apartment itself is fine. Easy to find and close to the main city, nice apartment and reasonable price, availability of service providers, speed of their responses

The most important thing is the confidence of the hosted in the cleanliness and hygiene of the place. Unfortunately, the stain on the sofa and the slight dog smell put doubts. My colleague slept very badly because of this.

Nice owner, he enables me to change my booking and it was a kind effort as he was not obliged. Good location

Since years I am selecting FAFA as my destination in Essen. Never disappointed with each stay being absolutely fantastic.

The area it is located with a spectacular view over Ruhr river valley.

Location was excellent. The bed was very comfortable Service was impeccable. Everyone was professional and polite. Location is outstanding. Our whole stay was seamless and relaxed however the staff members at all levels offered amazing service!

The views are nice.

The owner's 70kg guard dog was extremely scary and potentially dangerous, especially since the fence was short enough for it to jump over. He would bark at us going in and out constantly and I was even stuck at the door once because the dog could not be controlled.

Overall good for 1 night will need some improvements like painting and decorating and definitely will need more attention to cleanliness

The photo is deceptive…. It is a bed sitting room. The noise level was totally unacceptable…. no sound proofing…. No sleep for 3 nights. The family above could have been in the same room. This is a garden apartment and so the two huge dogs jump at the dividing fence barking incessantly and run up and down the stair well outside the dividing door. The barking was horrific . We left early but the owners were extremely nice about it….

Super hightech apartment, not very large, but for a short stay perfectly enough. There is also a pool directly in front of the door, must be nice on hot summer days, but we couldn't use it in February, obviously. We booked our stay spontaneously and arrived late in the evening, and there was still no problem with the key. The host was also nice on the phone.

There were only 3 spoons. The dishes in the dishwasher and the utensils in the drawer were dirty. My best guess: the host didn't have enough time to check everything before we arrived, since we booked our stay on the day of arrival. I found that the sofabed was uncomfortable, but that probably depends on your taste.

The location is excellent, on walking distance from the old town of Kettwig. The house is spacious and really nice, with a fully equipped kitchen, a (great) shower, a bath and a beautiful panorama view from the window. Communication with the owner was very efficient with quick replies to my messages.

There was a dog that didn't stop barking every time we arrived, until we entered the house. As soon as we got outside it started again until we were no longer visible. The house is a little noisy. We could clearly hear the neighbors talk in the evening.

The location is in a very quiet surrounding. Close to the center of Kettwig (suburb of Essen). Few minutes walking to the river Ruhr, old city of Kettwig with good restaurants. Free parking on site. Coffee is free of change available, Very recommendable place for business or leisure travel to Essen or Düsseldorf . Antonio, the host is very friendly !

Was easy to access and located close to interesting places in Essen.
