Excellent breakfast, plenty of choice cooked to a very high standard. The accommodation was exceptionally clean throughout. Neil was the perfect host with excellent local knowledge. We had a lovely stay.

we had a lovely stay, was so clean and modern. staff took the time to remember your name and could not do enough for you. breakfast was delicious and would definitely return.

Everything was lovely so clean and pretty the bedroom was a good size, plenty of storage hair dryer in room and tea/coffee. Loved the pretty garden so lovely and peaceful. Neil was really nice welcoming and very helpful breakfast was amazing eggs Benedict were the best I’ve had! There was also onsite parking which was great.

A warm welcome from Neil on arrival. He had txt that morning to say what time our room would be ready. He gave us a.map of the area which was a nice touch and also booked us a taxi to take us to an Indian restaurant nearby that he had recommended. The room was fabulous, we felt at home and comfortable as soon as we walked in. It was spotlessly clean as was the bathroom,and the shower was easy to use. We had been given a bottle of fresh water, but with no fridge,it was just warm water,so for us,it probably was a waste of water,but a nice touch for those that want it. We also had wine glasses in the room,which came in very handy. Breakfast was excellent,lots of choice ,with fruit,nuts, yogurt, muesli and several cooked options. The quality of the cooked breakfast ingredients was great, clearly local meat and eggs. It was about a 20 mins walk to the harbour which was fine for us. A really excellent stay, we definitely recommend Trafalgar house if you fancy a stay in Torquay.

The facilities and customer service at Trafalgar House is simply exceptional. There are many highly rated reviews and they are all true. The hotel is especially clean. The breakfast is a very high standard and quality. The service is beyond expectations.

Everything about Trafalgar House was wonderful. Neil is a brilliant host, for whom nothing was too mych trouble.

We had a really pleasant stay at Trafalgar House and a superlative find it was. It’s very clean, homely and comfortable. The decor is beautiful and one of the most comfortable beds I’ve stayed in. The location is great and in a nice quiet area, a short walk away from the seafront. Breakfast was scrumptious and there’s a great selection to choose from, including the delicious homemade jams and marmalade. Neil and Noom are fantastic hosts and kindly surprised us with Easter eggs on Easter Sunday. Thank you for a lovely stay! Sarah and Louis

Friendly and helpfull from first meeting and room was very lovely homely and very clean. Request for breakfast wasnt a problem and food was really good. Always helpful if we needed anything and full of information of areas to visit ....definitely would stay here again .

Shower was disappointing ( no real water pressure) Room could have been a little larger to accommodate a bigger bed.

A great B&B and perfect base when visiting the area, with a warm welcome from Neil the owner including some info on the local area and the key attractions. Comfy, light and clean double rooms with a nice ensuite, also had coffee, water and biscuits restocked daily. Good location with free off-road parking, and a reasonably flat 8 to 10 minute walk to the High Street or seafront. Breakfast quality was perfect, plenty of choice and everything fresh and very well prepared and cooked by the guy in the kitchen (sorry we didn't catch your name) nothing too much trouble for them both throughout our stay. A takeaway breakfast was also specially made for us on a morning when we had to be out a little earlier than usual. Thankyou again for a lovely stay and for the homely welcome, we'd definitely stay again if visiting the area.

I don’t normally write reviews but I wanted to leave one as we really enjoyed our stay in this lovely Victorian house. Everything was very clean and beautifully decorated. We looked forward to the breakfasts every morning. Neil was very friendly and attentive. We liked the area as it was about 10 minutes to the local train station and walking distance to the harbour and other local attractions/ activities.

Bed a little softer than we are used to but everyone has different needs, so not a complaint.

The owners were very hospitable from start to finish. Each person’s name was remembered individually. Nice gardens. Very good cooked breakfast and a comfortable bed. Free parking. Clean. Owner advised of issue in booking restaurants for evening meal in the locality in advance of booking. Good quality ingredients sourced locally.

We liked the property but may not suit if a location on the seafront is required. It is a few streets back but not too far to walk if reasonably mobile.
