We loved it here! Communication before our arrival was great and they even sent us a video on how to get there (which was super easy). The location is great, just a short walk up from the beach with fantastic views! There was free coffee and water all day round and they even have different cakes you can help yourself to. The breakfast was great as well and the staff were super helpful in general answering all our questions about tours, organising transfers and recommending restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!

Sofia really makes you feel welcome and is very knowledgeable about the area. The breakfast was also fantastic.

A little tricky to get to with bags. Not an issue going back as Sofia kindly arranged a porter to collect our bags but wish we’d know this for the way there as it’s along the beach and then up a lot of stairs. No issue if you’re fit and strong!

Sophia! She's fab. Super friendly, personable and helpful. She was always around when needed, gave great restaurant recommendations, was genuinely interested in people and wanted to have conversations, and is just a really lovely person. The location is amazing. It's a bit of a walk from the pier but we were sent a video before arriving with directions so knew what to expect, and the steps aren't the easiest when carrying a backpack but the view is worth it. The rooms are nice, basic but functional, and each has an outdoor seating area. It feels really safe. Breakfast is also pretty good - fruit, bread, cereal etc and the cook makes the best cakes!

The mosquito net had holes in it, and mosquitos love my partner. The shower was cold but this may have been something I did? I didn't ask. Our room had a double bed with bunk beds. We did not use the bunk beds which was good as they were very wobbly.

Pousada Tagomago is pretty much a paradise. Amazing location close to the city centre but between the forest. You hear the birds and the nature around, and it's amazing. The breakfast was delicious and the staff, especially Sofia, was extremely nice and kind. We were heartbroken when we left, and we hope to come back as soon as possible.

Nothing, everything was amazing

The location of the Pousada is perfect for access to beach and the lovely town. The staff were so helpful and kind and the breakfast was exceptional, with a great view to the beach.

The room was fairly basic, as was the bathroom. Could have done with some more personal / luxury touches to reflect the price.

Beautiful view and very well located, staff were very friendly and helpful. Lovely breakfast and very clean room. We loved our stay here and would definitely come back!

May want to consider somebody to carry your bags up the stairs if they are heavy or if you have mobility issues. Would be good to have an option of twin beds if possible and have mosquito nets available for the separate smaller bed (if in use). Overall a great pousada though!

The rooms are just a little further away from central Abraao making it a bit quieter. The views are amazing and the room was in great condition and very clean. There is a deck overviewing the harbor with a hammock to hang out in. This was a great choice. The hosts helped me book some of the tours as well.

I found the place a bit difficult to find by simply looking at a map. The entrance is on the beach and requires you to carry your luggage in loose sand. There are porters at the ferry when you arrive though.

Great location, facilities and extremely helpful staff. Would go back and highly recommend it to others

Old apparences ( ceiling ventilator makes lot of noise as well as the AC ) Even tough location is quiet and peacefully, these 2 apparences are outdated and ruins your peace of mind during the night

Towel changes everyday. The stuff was friendly. Nice breakfast.

The view is excellent and breakfast is very good. Nice quiet location.
