The room was nice , the lady on reception was very friendly and very helpful, the only down side was the kitchen was being refurbished so there was no cooked breakfast, we had to have continental breakfast in our room , otherwise very nice hotel , would definitely stay there again .

Location was ideal. On the seabfront and near the centre of town. Staff were very helpful. Check in was efficient.

We had a two night stay and the beds were not remade or towels changed after the first night

Beautiful rooms, great location, wonderfull staff

A very nice hotel in a great location. We had a wonderful sea view from our room. The hotel was next to a street which was one great restaurant after another. The best thing about the Alexandra was the people. Winston and Monika were lovely and went over and above to make sure we had a great stay. This will be our go-to property in Eastbourne going forwards.

Nothing really. The room was a bit cold when we arrived but Winston and Monika rushed to put that right. A safe in the room would have been nice, but that wasn't a problem.

Staff were friendly, room was very nice with a great sea view. Overall, very happy, and would definitely stay again.

Only slight downside was a clear gap around the door, which was bright at night time. Other than that minor issue, it was great.

The outstanding attention to detail and commitment of the staff, nothing was to much trouble. The manager in particular was exceptional. We had an excellent continental breakfast the manager, Winston, gave us complimentary breakfast because the restaurant was not available until the end of November. We had a very enjoyable stay and look forward to returning in the new year.

I really can’t think of any negative features of this hotel. It had recently been refurbished to a very high standard.

Everything was great. Spotless clean, modern, refurbished single room on the 2nd floor with a wonderful sea view in a beautiful building. They cleaned the room every day as if there was an invisible angel in my room. 😇 Great location, few minutes walk to the pier, restaurants, cafes, bus stop. Great WIFi. You can adjust the hot water in the shower, so contrary to previous experience I would say the shower is very good too, which is brand new. Suitable size TV. The bed is comfortable.

The only disappointment is that the rooms are very compact (small). Not much space to move around the Bed.
