Good location for visiting family.
The bedroom was in the eaves, which for a family meant it was a bit cramped and hot.
No hairdryer was provided.
Breakfast wasn’t great, salty and overcooked.

We had no working shower and no staff toassist

We hadden een grote kamer boven de pub. Maar die ging om 23 uur dicht dus geen last van gehad. Personeel was allemaal jong maar super vriendelijk. Prima gegeten. Nog een mooie wandeling gemaakt in de buurt.
Het is een apart hotel, kan er niet echt de vinger op leggen. Prima voor 1 nacht.

The garden was good.
There was another room upstairs so we didn’t know if someone was staying there as our toilet was across the room. Which wasn’t mention when booked it.(it did make us uncomfortable but the staff assured there’s no one staying there) and the roof was low all the way through.
The breakfast was ok I have had better.
Over all the stay was comfortable.

The staff were very accommodating and pleasant. They were very helpful and friendly.
The bathroom needed a deep clean of the tiles and grouting. There were some cobwebs on the wall and ceiling.

The breakfast was excellent as the dinner the night before ...we loved everything about this small hotel nothing was too much trouble and Josh and other staff were very friendly and welcoming.

The room was clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable. The car park was very good. it was possible to have my bike stored securely. The staff were willing to help in various ways. Breakfast for residents was served in a quiet room overlooking the front of the property.
There was quite a bit of noise late on the first night. When I had an evening meal, it was in the bar area with the door to the outside open. That meant that cigarette smoke drifted in while I was having my meal.

Very friendly staff and pleasant rooms. Breakfast was also very good. They also accommodated us for food without a prior reservation at a peak time which was very nice of the staff.

Big bathroom and great size room with comfy beds. Lovely garden to enjoy a drink and the sunshine. Food was great too

Some details let the room down a little, the shower pressure was poor and the bathroom door got stuck. Minor details that didn’t impact overall but could just make the whole experience that little bit better.

staff very welcoming. dog friendly, secure garden for kids and dogs. food great value for money. breakfast was lovely and nicely presented. each room individually decorated with all the extra bits to make it feel home from home with a nice comfy bed

breakfast was excellent, as were the evening meals in the bar the previous evening. To be fair, i genuinely feel that the room was underpriced, but, if average people like us can stay at such a warm, welcoming hotel with fantastic staff for the price we paid then Artro deserves to be rated excellent for every category.

Location was good, not far from Barmouth. Breakfast was fine with a couple of minor issues, staff was nice. Room was clean, bed was comfortable.
Boiler fumes exhaust pipe was positioned by the room's window, it was impossible to open the window and air the room as the fumes were blown right into it.

when we had breakfast the waitress asked if we wanted tea or coffee. we said yes but never got it.

apparently to be listed on booking.com is expensive but that’s just unfortunately how you get your name out there and how you get your quick bookings these days.

This place is sooo dog friendly, unfortunately there was a fire work display on near by and our dog was unsettled, but the staff allowed us to take our meal to the room. staff are very friendly, lovely bar and outside area and very clean and well looked after. Also the breakfast was great.
There wasn’t anything we didn’t like.
