Dirty rubbish left under the bed that was reported after my first nights stay but not cleaned at all. Shelves & bench tops were grubby. Bathroom not cleaned well. But worst of all the whole place was under construction & had been for past 18 months yet booking.com did not disclose this. I had booked & stayed two weekends in a row & by the time I realised the state of the place, including workmen hammering up a ladder outside my window at 7.30am! The next weekend with no other accommodation left in town I was forced to stay again & charged twice once by hotel & once by booking.com. It was a terrible experience and a very poor reflection on booking.com and I’m still waiting on the refund because the responsibility was on me to prove I had be charged double.

Broken/damaged furniture, mouldy split system, visible cockroaches, difficult to find and access.

Bed was comfy

I hope the renovations include the hotel rooms! Everything needs upgrading especially the shower. And it needs a toilet paper holder that the toilet oaper stays on & not fall off everytime it's used!

It was easy to find and quiet despite the renovations occurring.

Staff were fantastic and did the best they could to fix our issues. Bed was comfortable.

Hotel was under major renovations which we were not told. Was woken at 7.30am to excavators dropping huge bucket loads of rocks and rubble into metal bins, on top of that they had turned off the power. Manager got an extension lead set up for us so we could have a cuppa. He changed our room for our 2nd night to fix power issues but it didn't help with the noise issues. There was no discount either on the cost of the room.
