For an inexpensive overnight stay to make an early morning Stanstead flight, this is a great solution. No frills but perfectly adequate for a few hours sleep. We also parked the car here during our trip abroad and it worked out cheaper than airport parking, even with the return taxi fare included.

It's an a road into the town centre so there was a bit of traffic noise but it wasn't continuous, just the odd boy racer speeding past.

Ideal location for proximity to airport although parking space was very restricted, so be aware if you need to park close by. Own chalet style room attached to the pub where beer was good but no food. However, a fish & chip shop is only a short walk away and well priced for the quantity provided.

No parking initially until pub was shut or space vacated. The road was a little busy / noisy all night as it's on the main road through the village.

Great location. We were able to leave the car at the pub so we could explore Bishops Stortford on foot, courtesy of the landlord. Parking is right outside the 'cabins', motel style. The room was fine & very clean. Good value for money. The pub is full of character, with a good selection of beers & a nice little garden. The landlord is friendly & very helpful.

Pub is on a main road so you will hear traffic, but not excessive noise.

There was no breakfast at this place or food just snacks

The. Plug s need to be up higher not on the floor underneath the table older people will have a hard time getting to them

Good accommodation in separate building alongside the pub. Pub staff very welcoming. Easy walk into the town. Windows have venetian blinds. Didnt realise that there was also blackout blinds - just for information for future guests.

Just the traffic from the road. Everything else was very good.

it was clean, comfortable and perfectly located. Great to have the pub to have a pint in before returning to the room.

The room could have had a small fridge to store items and keep them cool or fresh.

seedy, shower, bedside lights and shaver light didn’t work. room was functional. bed was very hard.

Left my car an extra night for £4 which is reasonable, location from the train station for an early morning flight , staff friendly

Location is excellent close to cafe/restaurants, leisure activities & for us family. For the price the room is very good value for money & free wifi! The staff are incredibly aproachable & helpful. Highly reccomended though I wish to keep this liitle gem for myself!

Wish we could have stayed longer!
