The pool area was exceptional gorgeous patio furniture of which there was plenty.

To be honest there was nothing to dislike. It was a 20 minute walk to the beach in Monte gordo but that wasn’t a problem.

Lovely view of a very welcoming looking pool garden. I'm sure guests would enjoy using the pool and sun beds. Looks great. The view of the field and the horses was lovely. Very tranquil. Generous sized balcony with loveky table and chairs. The overnight caretaker was very helpful in getting me hot water for my chamomile tea. Very clean. Bed very comfortable. Fatima, who replied to all my emails, was absolutely lovely. So helpful. I wish the man at front of house was as helpful. I think we should see more of the lovely Fatima. I met her when I came back later to collect my backpack and she was so lovely. I think my whole experience would have been greatly improved by being greeted by her initially. First impressions count. The tea selection at breakfast was wonderful, lots of Pukka and Yogi tea. I would enjoy a few of these with a kettle in my room later in the day. The fresh strawberries at breakfast were divine. The organic fruit from the garden is wonderful. They could really advertise this and do more with it. I was pleased to see bamboo toothbrushes for sale too. They really tried to accommodate my dietary requirements despite my last-minute booking. Very kind of them to allow me to leave my backpack for a few hours. Overall, fine for a one or two night stay, but with more emphasis on the fresh organic fruit and tea selection, and attention to dietary requirements, the place could be a great wellness place to stay.

I was greeted rather unceremoniously by a man on arriving with my heavy backpack. I didn't feel made welcome by him. The room was very compact and would have felt more comfortable without the extra single bed and the large fridge. There are no kettles in the room. It would be so lovely to sit on that balcony with a cup of tea. Quite far from anywhere.

The friendly atmosphere

The location was handy, the outside facilities far more than we expected, stunning pool. Breakfast was first class,the room was spotless.

The only single thing I didn’t like was the coffee at breakfast. Not as good as we’ve had elsewhere in Portugal
