such a beautiful setting, we loved our room with 2 balconies where the sun hit in the afternoon. the staff were so lovely and helpful, helping us with mosquito bites and where to find a good gyros which was so nice. the rooms itself was spacious and the bed was huge we probably could have fit all 3 of us in there!

there were a few stains on the sheets which was disappointing, I also think the room could do with a revamp but it did the job. there was a rule that you couldn’t take any food or drink to the pool which was disappointing as a lot of the rooms were catered to be able to do self catering, and we noticed a lot of families with small children staying which means they would also want to prep ahead and make sure they have food and drink on hand but if you can’t have it at the pool it’s a bit of a waste. I understand there’s a pool bar but snacks weren’t available.

Well kept and pretty common areas, clean and spacious room with a beautiful view. Only used the pool on one of the days as we went to the nearby beaches which are all within 2-15 minutes walk, but the pool was also great. Food at the restaurant was also lovely and there are great restaurants nearby. It’s also only a 15-20 minute, simple, bus journey to Chania, where we went almost every evening and highly recommend the trip. All in all a brilliant hotel and I would recommend it to anyone!

We loved the cleanliness. We loved the restaurant (everything we got was absolutely delicious). We loved the staff (very pleasant and obliging). We loved the weather. We loved the cocktails. We loved the private beach. We loved Crete!!

Cat poo beside the sun loungers. Suggestion would be that each morning someone could come along with a small shovel and pick it up. The cats themselves were lovely and didn't bother anyone they just need to keep their poo somewhere else.

The location - 15-20 mins outside of Chania town in Kalamaki - is lovely and peaceful, with everything you need for your stay. A mini mart directly opposite, pharmacy and ATM next door and around 5-6 restaurants and cafes within walking distance. As a solo traveller I felt very safe around there. The pool and beach area is also really very beautiful and peaceful, with comfy sun loungers and really reasonably priced drinks. Room was always spotlessly clean.

Nothing really, but I found the pool bar staff to be a little bit unapproachable - could have just been an off moment. Made me not use it as much though. I also think they should get you to sign a bill for your order when checking the amount to your room, just to check you know what you’re paying for. I had no issues with it personally but I can imagine it does for some!

The breakfast was exceptional. The views were stunning, and the staff were lovely. It was so close to the sea, watching the waves whilst eating was a real treat. Only 15 minutes to central Chania meant that it was easy to do local sightseeing too.

It was all pretty brilliant! It may have been nice to have breakfast included in the room price instead of separate.

The place has a quiet resort-vibe. The rooms are spacious and bed was one of the comfiest we had slept in Crete. Restaurant serves great food, along with breakfast buffet that had the greatest selection out of all hotels we had stayed in Crete. Juicer in the corner that allows to select our own fruit was also a great plus for me. There are two pools, one deeper and the other one shallower, although I never swam in it because I was mostly in the sea. There is access to the ocean right by the pools, and there are sunbeds as well. It's not a typical beach with sand though, as there is a ladder that helps you get into the ocean. The water was shallow enough, but lots of big rocks so it's a little bit difficult to swim freely in the water without any swimming goggles.

I felt it was remote and pretty nice, but my husband thought it was a little bit too remote and got bored after a whole day at the hotel. No sand, and deep enough water to give you the proper beach-feeling, so if this is what you expect from the hotel beach, you would be disappointed. However, if you are pretty much satisfied with just some water to dip yourself in once in a while and also get served at the same time, you would easily be able to spend the whole day at the hotel and never have to leave the place.

It was clean , cozy, good food and value for the money. Very nice little hotel.

The night portier was amazingly service minded when we arrived 4.30 and assisted with smile and friendliness and gave us a boost in energy The suit with sea view was spotless and so comfortable The pools ans beach access is all you dream of.

Excellent location with amazing view. The service and the stuff were exceptional. The food at the restaurant was very tasty and the stuff at the reception always friendly and super helpful with their suggestions. We liked the feeling of always being welcomed and being taken care of. Appropriate accomodation not only for families but also for couples.

The rooms from the side of the street were a bit noisy.

Lack of amenities, shower head was weak, glassware needs to be removed daily.
